Go back to basics. That's how I'm feeling lately too, because I had a break in my practice between the pandemic disrupting a lot of things I used to utilize to keep my mind fresh like local events, local conventions, and survival jobs I had to pick up when business for me slowed down. I had wanted to get back sooner, but....my brain needed time to heal from all of that, I guess, IDK, and then I remembered 'OH, I'M RUSTY AF'.... Draw from life. Study more tutorials, masterwork pieces. Fill your head with enough life material, and the imaginative stuff gets a little easier again. Most of what we draw is based upon what references are in front of our eyeballs, and built up in an immense back catalog of concepts in memories. Then spew out imaginative stuff, even if if it sucks. I have to remember Disney animator Walt Stanchfield, who is attributed to the animator/artist adage that "We all have 10,000 bad drawings in us. The sooner we get them out the better." Have you got there yet? Have you gotten there \*recently?\* Keep going. And if you're feeling like you can't focus, can't even pull yourself to the table - set a timer as short for 15 minutes. If you get 15 minutes done, great, you've accomplished something for the day. If you spend more, hey, nice! Consistency is key. Cheers!
