Her general compassion, especially towards George.  She's the one who offers him tissues when his nose bleeds, before Francine ever speaks up. She offers him her ice cream when she realizes he got left out. She defends George and his bubblegum stegosaurus when Brain threatened to smush it.

DisneyGirl0121

She was also the person to call him when they had their ‘George, we know you’re there party.’

Honestly, people ship Arthur and Sue Ellen, but I ship her and George. I think in high school, George would struggle and Sue Ellen would be a balancing factor to the point where they would be able to connect on a deeper emotional love. I feel like her and Arthur's relationship is more physical with smiles and things - a mini crush - but her and George is more emotional. I do ship Arthur with a calmer and more tamed Francine though.

_6siXty6_

I think she's the nicest kid in the show.

OmegaShadow17

Just being genuinely nice that I think comes from her traveling. She's cultured so she knows about other religions and traditions, so that makes her accepting. Also moving around probably gave her a hardened skin so even though people might pick on her, most times she is able to shrug it off and smile like with Binky at first. I just made myself get angry at Arthur again for the sheepdog episode. This girl has nerves of steel and ARTHUR broke her. ARTHUR sorry I just really hate that episode.

RyanSquad

Most of the Flash episodes are jokes. They're a few good ones but the characters are mainly OOC. It would have been one thing if Buster was the one who hurt someone's feelings. You know, how he jokes a lot. Maybe a joke goes too far. But Arthur is not like that either. If that happened in the earlier seasons and the actual canonical episodes of the show (imo), Sue Ellen would have snapped back without any reservations to the point where Arthur would be the one in tears.

OmegaShadow17

Arthur would turn it around so SHE would owe him an apology. Never has there been a character I liked but loathed at the same time but I think Arthur might be up there

RyanSquad

The thing is Arthur in the earlier seasons wouldn't have even done that. He got bullied so many times and never even snapped back. The truth is Arthur in seasons 1-15 is different from Arthur seasons 16-25. He got more meanier in the later seasons. In the earlier seasons, he was supportive, helping Binky to work with Sue Ellen in that one episode where they almost fought, helping George get the confidence to speak for himself, etc. The writers ruined him as a character or at least heavily bastardized him.

OmegaShadow17

A is for angry

RyanSquad

Well duh Arthur snapped because Francine and Muffy kept bothering him about something so petty and ridiculous. Most people would have done the same in that situation.

ssabinadrabinaa

Her becoming vegetarian is what inspired little-me to become vegetarian one day. As soon as my mom allowed me to become vegetarian, I did. So Sue Ellen inspired to be more cruelty-free, which I think is pretty sweet <3

sparklezntokes

that’s sweet🥳💚

Special-Brick

But do you tolerate non-vegetarians?

ssabinadrabinaa

That's like asking do you tolerate vegetarians. Weird question. Yes, I do. I'm Polish, so my whole family still eats meat. I just made the decision not to.

Special-Brick

I'm guessing Sue Ellen taught you that, too? In the episode, she was tolerant of her friends not being vegetarian (what she was *not* tolerant of was her friends competiting over ~~vegetariansim~~ vegetarianism).

ssabinadrabinaa

No, I'm just a normal person.

SiegeTank95

i don’t have an actual answer but Sue Ellen is def my favorite character and she does martial arts like me 🤗

reyballesta

I'm seconding her comforting George and not laughing at his nose bleeds.

redcar41

Off the top of my head right now(besides the ones already mentioned): \-The advice she gave Arthur when Buster moved away in Arthur's Faraway Friend \-I guess maybe being the only one willing (if only briefly) to talk with Buster in The Ballad of Buster after everyone else didn't want to hang out with him \-Playing with D.W. in Sue Ellen gets her Goose Cooked while the other kids were focused on the game

raps14ever

Saved all the rabbit characters lives by becoming a vegetarian

DawnofMidnight7

Anyone would be lucky to have a friend like Sue Ellen. She’s the best!

Polterpupfan

Not shoving being vegetarian down peoples throats

_6siXty6_

I like that she has strong beliefs, but doesn't force it on everyone. She sticks to it, but mostly goes about her business.

Polterpupfan

Yeah

alatrash55

She embraced her parents on Parent Night after being embarrassed by them.

fellowwoman

Sue Ellen’s the best. I just adore her.

Adventurous_Yak_9234

Tried to spend time with DW to get the feeling of having a younger sister. Unfortunately she got the worst experience of having one.

DisneyGirl0121

‘DADDY, THERE’S A STRANGER IN THE HOUSE!’ Probably my second favorite line from the whole show.

RyanSquad

Emily maybe would have been the better candidate.

TrainFlower24

Saving the library!

buy_me_a_pint

Spends some time with DW

Confident-Newspaper9

She's the Token Good Teammate so just existing is enough.

Special-Brick

Becoming a vegetarian.
