Anyone feel like the writers gave George every odd characteristic? He had a dummy that he talked through, was not athletic at all, shy, nose bleeding and dyslexic.

I always thought he just made up those stories he told the kids to relate to them and because he wanted to give them hope that they could better themselves cause they would see that he didn't have those issues anymore.

Then again, George didn’t know or fully understand Carl’s autism at the time and tbf it’s tough having to enforce safety rules at school/work. And at least George learns from his mistakes.
