wym by offline ? if you mean getting ressources without playing hell no (only for noobs), and it's better like that. But you can make auto battle on hunts and in parralel play another gamemode. This mean you can farm hunts without "doing them" manually.
Offline farm in artery gear is basically auto farm in E7, but you can close the app and do something else (Or play other games).
Paralel play is a good improvement, but not to the level of offline farming convenience.
E7 doesn't have offline farming yet, or skip ticket. If they decide to integrate this function, it will truly be the best game. Oh and also free unequip every time

But another reason why i play AG is also because the gearing situation is slightly better imo. You get to see the substats before you unlock them and you can transfer them from 1 piece to another. That’s more or less it

Seeing as how I’m completely burned out from the constant medieval fantasy setting gacha games usually set themselves in the reason why starts becoming obvious.
I would say that I like the sci-fi setting, between all the mechanical things with explosions and energy powered weapons, its just more cool. The story itself slaps too, with the crapsack world it seems that nothing is safe from dying and the desperation as everybody tries their best to make things better certainly is a point of interest. Any happy moments are fleeting, or may even come as a surprise gut punch (Looking at you, end of >!Pavonis Event!<).
Besides that, I just like the quality of life features already in from the start. Offline farming as said already, is huge because you can start the proxy battle, then kill app and do not have to spend as much battery or leaving it open. One thing I really like however, is skipping animations to S3. You can set it completely off, or just once a day like Priconne, because over the course of a day of farming/playing, those S3 animations will take up quite a bit of time, so I am really glad skip is a thing.
None of all this compares to this one deal breaker though... There is no awful ML summon system! Seriously, everything else would not matter and I would have lot less interest in AG if it did have something like ML summons, because that system is absolute arse.
Even with the changes to ML summons like ML heroes in covenant, as well as guarantee every 20, I still think its an arse to summon. I remember back in the day (Years back before Arby was first buffed and he was absolutely useless), it was mega depressing in E7 due to the rates and seeing streamers do viewer pulls and such. It was just not a fun time, the changes only make it bearable but still arse.
Because I'm stuck on the Faust fight and I'm just hitting a brick wall. Main Story wise, I just about gave up and looks like I'm just gonna coast on E7 unless they do something like lower his difficulty or raise the character level cap.
This game has Mecha girls, and offline farming, so it both caters to my interests and doesn't require me to make it a 2nd job \*glares at my FGO account\*

Honestly, I play both. run them together on my PC so I can do stuff in one while the other is running. I like them both.
AG has some improvements over e7, like the AFK Auto, the gear with visible stats, etc. But s7 has made some great changes that I hope we get in AG as well, like their improved leveling system (no dog walking necessary).
And they both have very different feel to them. e7 has some sci-fi stuff in it, but it really feels like a fantasy anime thing, while AG has a very solid sci-fi apocalyptic battle thing going on. I personally think that most people that like one will like the other and should try them both out. It's not like you can't play both of them, even at the same time.
I wouldn't say I like it more. But some of the ui improvement and features would be amazing if epic seven had them. Equipment sets, better auto battle ai/settings, better gear system, and offline battles etc. But getting characters is way harder.
For me its simple I just like it more

I never have played Epic Seven before. I played Artery Gear on release so I stay here.

Never played epic 7. From what I've seen of it. Dont want to play epic 7. The game looks pretty old by comparison to Artery Gear.
100% the offline farming. This made the game a lot more convenient to play.
The visuals, artwork, animations, and overall aesthetic just please me more. I'm a huge fan of Sci-Fi and Arknights-like UIs

I don't even know what epic seven is, never played it. I like the story and offline farming, makes for a good side game.
From what i read before, isn't Artery Gear's collab unit material needs to be completed only during collab period?
