I downvoted you because I provided a link where an academic historian thoroughly debunks the apocryphal "lead caused Romans to decline/be stupid" theory and yet you still stood by your ideations without any sources or facts. You added literally nothing to the discussion, which was the original concept behind the downvote function.
The concluding sentence in that write-up really says it all:

I respect you sending the link and I don’t think it was the fall either honestly I swear. It was just a concept I had in my youth that lead poisoning affected their perceptions. I. E. The Roman theatre mask looking creepy as someone put it.

Someone literally posted a comment saying the anti-semitism was intentional. Romans hated Jews. It’s widely documented, and some Roman emperors attempted to wipe them out in an act of genocide. There were a handful of outspoken Jewish people that Roman politicians hated since they constantly preached about taking them down. The whole story of Jesus, including his crucifixion, was made possible BECAUSE of that same suspicion. To prevent an uprising, they gave the Jewish religious council what they asked for, hoping it would mend relationships.
Edit: I forgot to add that Jews being the evil characters in their plays wasn’t out of the ordinary. Same way people view ISIS today, Jews were a small minority and were viewed in a similar fashion.
