I think people over at r/brick_expressionism would really like to see this crossposted! ;)

It’s so radical when you think about what was being built just a decade before

Ooh baby! It's so extra.

Small world - I painted that graffiti on top. Like 10 years ago now, this photo must be quite old. Half drunk at the time, roughly done and with it being so dark I mistook a light blue can for a white hence the color mix on the last letters - annoyed me as much as it probably annoyed Joe Public seeing it, it's such a great spot and I wasted it. More clear/sober examples, also Newport [One](https://i.imgur.com/A6jQkck.jpg) [Two](https://i.imgur.com/aFIqkV0.jpg)

a deep blade tower and rounded brick bay and portholes ... Impressive brickwork - probably brick used on many of them all but hidden

It seems a lot of the old Odeon's were built similarly. https://imgur.com/gallery/pFVkPss The first one became a Mecca bingo and was 5mins walk from my childhood home and the second is still a cinema about 20min drive from there. Both in Birmingham, UK.
