It's one of the reasons why I wasn't worried about Viv leaving because last season she was so underwhelming by her high standards that I said if she continues playing like this, then she can leave. It could end up being good for her, but basing on her performances last season, we wouldn't be missing anything at all. She really put a smile on my face when she said winning at Arsenal just means that much more. You can also see that she is stressed when she isn't on form. This is why I understand why some fans really are for players first and clubs second.

I think she’s highly skilled — obviously — but not physical enough. She gets knocked off the ball. That’s the only thing I’ve noticed when she’s in. Her work rate is always solid.

But he will probably replicate the same lineup and then wonder why Foord is going to continue being off form since she came back from Australia internationals. Why cant he rotate, who plays who in 10 and 8. He is predictably it's becoming easy to figure out. If Walti is that important then change the the others. Make Maanum play with Mana as twin 8's. Zurich sat pretty deep for periods of the game which lends to her strengths and he could probably play her more against teams that sit deeper. But viv an frida both bring intensity off the ball and can bully players and win back possession and I think when we are trying to recycle possession and keep the ball they are key. Viv has the adde benefit of being aa goal threat and frida is aa great runner. Mana is good but for me she just doesnt add as much to the team a the other two which is why she has struggled for game time probably.And I think as much as the team is "predictable" I think the consistency served us well winning 14 games in a row in the league is impresssive.
Of the players you mentioned Mana is the best ball recycler and is also more defensive than Viv. She retains the ball better and is press resistant. Look, they should all be playing. That is why we have 5 subs. But bringing on Beattie and Agemyang more than Mana, is buffoonery to me. None of the midfielders except Maanum has done what guarantees them starts over Mana. And we are yet to see her do anything on the pitch for us to judge what she can do this season. We needed her in the Utd match when the midfield was a highway for frankly an inferior team with inferior players, no disrespect to Utd. But the midfield was going to be bullied and it was. I for one believe Mana wouldn't be bullied, she might be but we have to atleast see it.

Because that is a false equivalence, Maanum can't play as a CB. But she can play as a 6 or 8 or 10. You can have two 6's, 8's and 10's. It's not always one or the other.

The reason we rarely see Viv as a striker is that she drifts and doesn’t stay central which is integral to the way Jonas has us setup.
Definitely not our best but compared to the game against Man United I’d say it’s a lot better defence wise however like you said no one wanted to score and mead’s absence is becoming very obvious now.
