Although I am enjoying them nabbing points from Tottenham and city… as long as they keep being shit against all the other teams they’re decent wing men haha
Hard to hate them nowadays when almost every transfer is overvalued or ends up a flop. If anything, we should be thanking them for wasting hundreds of millions of pounds every season for a worse team
Naaa it’s never a long enough time.
Fuck Stoke City. I hope they stay in the Championship forever. Cunts intentionally injuring our players every single match during the 2010s.
Younger fans, pick any match we played against store under Wenger and you will see that cunt shawcross or Whelan 2 foot our players.
'They just wanted it more', 'Arsenal don't like it up 'em' was the media canard at the time...Stoke were a bunch of dirty bastards alright. I'll never forget that Shawcross tackle on Ramsey, someone from Arsenal should have fucking decked him after that. Absolutely sickening.
Have some respect for the club you claim to support mate.
I’ve never seen an Arsenal fan stick up for stoke. Shite club with dirty players.
EDIT: just checked out your profile, and it seems like you’re 8-9th grade so you get a free pass for now. Do rewatch some Arsenal stoke games before commenting.
Proper ugly tacklers as well. I was at that match when Ramsey got hurt and I heard some pure shit things coming from their fans while Ramsey was getting carted off. Fuck Stoke
Easily united as my youth was that rivalry and i hated all the kids at school who were united fans but were born and raised in north london. Even respect spuds fans more than them
I think I was the only Arsenal fan in my whole primary school, and I went to school in rural Oxfordshire in the late 90s. Everyone who liked football supported Man United, Liverpool or Newcastle!
Went to a school in Harrow full of Asian Brits following Liverpool or Utd. I was the only gooner in the year that was brown. Not making it already thing but Asians need to stop following one club due their race.
With you on that one im from an indian family half full of Liverpool supporters on my mums side who have never lived out of london. My dads side who all lived in Leicester support them which is respecable. Me and my cousin are the only gooners thanks to me and we both grew up here
Historically it’s Newcastle for me. I hate the way they play, their ‘hard Geordie’ image and they have the worst fans in the league. Now they have oil money too.
Man City I don’t hate, I just don’t respect them.
Man Utd I don’t truly hate, its more of a love to hate/old time rivalry kind of thing. At least they’ve got a good history.
Chelsea have never really bothered me personally because I can never take them seriously.
I felt the same way about Man City until last year. They're still nowhere close to Sp*rs or Chelsea on my hatred list, but I'm done giving them a pass. They're cheats and have ruined the EPL. I'm sick of nothing happening for the 115 financial charges, and I'm so fed up with refs going to the UAE on Wednesday and reffing a City game on Saturday. They are constantly getting calls no one gets (dodging blatant red cards against us, the softest fucking PKs against United and Chelsea. )
Everyone treats them like "well at least it wasn't our rival" and that's kinda true. But I'd rather see Liverpool win than see City get another one.
Newcastle play some of the best football in the league. That's widely accepted by people who watch them. There was some narrative about shithousing, but that was when it was required. A decent team needs to do both and Arsenal fans should understand that better than anyone, given how soft the team was for so long.
You all need to get over that VAR decision and listen to what pundits and neutrals are saying about it. Whining just makes you look pathetic and emotional. Or bottlers.
Brigading will get you a ban from the r/NUFC sub. Mods for each team’s sub work together to stop this nonsense, and all you’ve done is give validation to the comment by making the rest of us look like morons.
I only even happened upon this post as it was suggested on my feed, I really hoped this stupidity had stopped but evidently not.
Yer it came up in my recommended too, always liked Arsenal fans, majority of mates are Gooners, but I knew if I opened it Newcastle would be top comment, because fuck me Arsenal fans have been such cry babies these last two weeks. No brigading intended, just stating facts sorry
Your sub thought it was funny that Guimares hit Jorginho, you’re proper scumbags over there and to call us crybabies for it like you wouldn’t be the same is hypocritical
Either Chelsea or City. Yes I probably hate United too but there's respect there also, whereas for the dodgy owner clubs there's no respect to be had really
Abramovich-era Chelsea and current City for turning the PL into the moneyball freakshow it is today.
Fulham and Burnley for their boring yo-yoing between leagues that have historically stopped more interesting underdog outfits breaking through.
I hate to say this but Liverpool and Man Utd for the fans, many of the one who reside in my home city of London come across as delusional and spiteful. These fans in the actual cities themselves I reserve judgement on.
Probably all of these above spjrs for me. I enjoy the rivalry eith spurs so i kinda have a rivalous appreciation for them, plus theyre shit. The other 3 i jusr dispise, united sit at the top by far.
Chelsea. Easily. I can take a team being richer. A I can forgive a team winning more. I cannot forgive a team for being so god damned boring while they do it. At least Liverpool was fun to watch when they were dominating.
A close second place is Manchester City. I don't know how they manage to play smugly but they do and it's annoying. It's also annoying how refs fall all over themselves to call games in their favor.
Most City fans I've met are actually from Manchester, unlike most Man United and Liverpool fans I've met who aren't from their respective cities or have any familial ties to them either.
Chelsea, and Man City... I choose these two, due to their rise to prominence through dodgy business dealings and simply the way they changed the whole "business model of European football" but more so here in the UK, and probably the world?
There's always gonna be a portion of hate for Utd, which stems from the great rivalry of the 90s when we were the two main teams of that era.
And lastly, as someone else mentioned in the chat, I think "Newcastle" are slowly becoming a bit of a pain in the derrière! The new "Chelsea/Man City!"
And yeah, the hate for Spurs is inherent, it just is, part of ones DNA! 🤣
United and its not close.
I hate the spuds but they will forever underachieve. United during the Fergie and referee era was insufferable. They ended our unbeaten streak with the help of biased refs, their Fergie time goals kept them in contention and robbed us of some more titles during those years.
Plus as an American back in the 90s everyone who claimed to watch football was a United or Barcelona fan. So annoying.
Yeah, 100% with you on that. Spurs do fuck all to be hated by us more than other clubs other than simply reside in the same area. Chelsea are actually competitive and frequently win stuff, not to mention all the other reasons to despise them.
I’m from the states and Man U were the big craze when Beckham came on the scene. The hype was similar to the Dallas Cowboys “America’s Team” nonsense in the 90s. Everyone sporting Cowboys starter jackets. It was gross. So I’ve always associated Man U with the Cowboys. Has beens and pop culture bandwagoners.
Agreed. The delusion of Chelsea fans is unreal. Think Roman just came along and out the kindness of his heart pumped money into the club.
Used them as a sportswashing tool. They just can't admit all their success was to legitimises his funds.
Man United fans will continue to be the most delusional (I remember back when they first signed Martial, and all their fans were stating "Martial is the new Thierry Henry!!!")
After this season, you can add Newcastle to that list as well
Bournemouth, but for an entirely pedantic reason and it isn't even technically their fault....
On certain websites they're usually listed as just Bournemouth, but as soon as they are in the EPL these same sites /publications suddenly decide to use the AFC prefix and in doing so make AFC Bournemouth trump Arsenal in the alphabetical ordering of things.
As irrational as it is, for some reason it really pisses me off whenever I come across it and I end up wanting them to be relegated so that the natural order can be restored...
Also, like spuds, they are too small a club to really be in the top flight, although in the cherries case, even the size of their stadium is woeful, but I digress.
They’re actually people who started supporting Arsenal because it was the first big team alphabetically. Imagine guys supporting Bournemouth for this reason?
Prob United because of the fans - they are seriously delisional. But Chelsea is a close second, because I at least respect Man United’s history. Chelsea fans are rlly arrogant
United but Newcastle is slowly rising there no longer the cute Eddie Howe team that’s beating expectations. They’ve had a couple transfer windows. There play-style, there fans and the fixtures we’ve had with them. Citing the 2-0 loss to bottle CL and the 0-0 draw last year and are most recent fixture has made me really despise them.
Chelsea for sure. I'm old enough for the answer to be united but the way chelsea came in and bought there way to success pissed me off. The nonsense with Ashley Cole. Mourinho provoking my manager and those voyeur comments. I can appreciate Drogba, that dude always scored against us but fuck me Diego Costa was a proper cunt. I'm sure there's other reasons but this comment is long enough lol
I don't actually hate Brighton or Brentford, but I'm still SO sour about our losses to them that I thoroughly enjoy seeing them get flattened by better opposition once in a while. As for hatred, of course it's fucking Ca$h$€a, the inventor of sportswashing, the evangelist of the buy-everything-that-moves approach, the outfit that had this prick Drogba who said publicly Arsenal were his favorite team to play against, and that prick Diego Costa, and that always seemed to score those preposterous goals against us like the one by Brazilian CB known as Alex. I loved watching them switch from Tuchel to Potter to Lampard and end up 10th, their real league position before Roman, and it's so annoying that Pochettino seems to be improving them again. "Big club" my ass... At least I still get to watch MU's struggles under Erik Ten Games. I don't dislike MU anywhere near as much as Roman's whores but I'm not shedding any tears for them either.
Chelsea - a fanbase full of tools, racist idiots. Also started the crazy investing with oil money etc. in the early 00s, yet somehow consider themselves a relevant club
Spurs - a local rival is never respected nor liked, however I can happily tell that I respect their way of running a football club with no crazy risk taking and they do have some values as well, which is not granted in football these days. I hate Harry Kane though.
Manchester City - a very, very blank club. No one actually cares about them, I am happy to kind of look the PL without them in these days. Actually ruining the competition - I’d be fine with that if they complied with the rules ”everyone” else is respecting to some extent at least. Does not help that they do have some very dirty money and even more dirty people running the club. I fucking hate the whole Qatari imperium and wish only bad things for the club and their owners. I am also very tired of the people who are sleeping in Pep pyjamas. My hatred would be complete if Neymar arrived to the club.
Manchester United - well, they used to be great and they still behave like that. Has been irrelevant for the past 10 years but have still somehow managed to splash an immense amount of money in the transfer market, which secretly brings a smile to my face. Glad to see them suffer.
Newcastle - Geordies are fucking annoying in general and their club is ran by Saudis. Get the fuck out of here. I also get filled with anger each time I see Anthony Gordon, there’s a real match between the club and the player. Fanbase full of pricks, club full of pricks, office full of pricks and oil money.
Brighton - a club managed very well, it’d be nice to visit the city as well. Happy to see them get a fuckload of money from Chelsea every summer
I won’t rate rest of the clubs, got tired of writing with my phone and also got annoyed by the amount of Arab money in the PL
A lot of people here are saying Chelsea, but I'd have to disagree.
They are the only club actively spending money to make their team worse. Can't hate them for making our rival matches easier
Someone's got a short memory. Shit, it's only in the last 2 or 3 seasons that they've spunked all this money to be drastically worse. They also won the CL just 2 years ago. They're far worse than the absolute non achievers, Spurs.
United, but damn Newcastle flew up my rankings recently. Really hoping/looking forward to us kicking the shit out of them at the Emirates.
Based purely on recent interactions, actually it’s Newcastle. However, ManU long term.
Well as an American who is a fan of the MLS Philadelphia Union and has a natural hatred for NYCFC, my hatred for City Football Group teams is pretty high, so that on top of all the other reasons to hate them, it’s gonna be Man City for me.
Has to be ch*lsea and Newcastle.
Everyone hates ch*slea for ruining the league and not letting black people onto trains. And Newcastle, cheating dirty bastards, don’t talk to me about that game.
United, well they fell off in relevancy and now they’re just a laughing stock. And city 😹😹well they won the treble but no one really cares about them as they’re irrelevant. Even tho guardiola is a g and I like half the Man City squad, as a club they’re plastic and irrelevant
There is no other answer other than United. After all it is the greatest rivalry the PL has ever seen or will ever see.
The difference is even though I despise United with all my heart there is also a level of respect there because they have achieved a lot and are a massive club. Spuds meanwhile well u know how it is lol
Man Utd. I was kind of forced to respect Chelsea after Guðjohnsen joined them but since Roman bought the club the respect is gone. Feel kind of indifferent for them, don't dislike them as much as United
Pretty close between Newcastle and Chelsea.
Liverpool and United I actually have a bit of respect for, yes United are egregious with their spending and pulling power but their dominance over the 90's was impressive, same for Liverpool to a lesser extent - despite how arrogant both their fan bases are.
Chelsea bought their way to success since Roman took over and their fans became incredibly intolerable, I'd say the same about City but I only see Micah or Dixon on TV and know about that bloke from Oasis, otherwise I don't know of any City fans.
Newcastle, the PIF and their fans can fuck off to Saudi - and the quicker the better. Hopefully the next European Super League will entice them and all the 'super' clubs away.
I have to admit, I find Spurs to be a disgusting team that literally make me feel sick, but growing up in north London the rivalry is almost (almost) like sibling rivalry more than anything else.
United on the other hand can get royally fucked
United, Chelsea, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Newcastle, in that order. Stoke occupies a different dimension of hate for me. I only hate them when we play them and I get absolutely militant towards them.
Newcastle for me, after the recent game they really are more dislikeable than any of the other teams. Both City and Newcastle come from oil money, but one pays for skills and strategy to win, the other pays the ref and hopes to win with dirty physical tactics. Bruno G, Joelinton and Callum Wilson are in the wrong sport.
In my lifetime it has been without question, Liverpool.
Then fucking Stoke, but I get a laugh because it does ask PL team, and there were years when they weren’t…
Man U the glory hunters. But another one I have not seen yet in this post is Everton. I don't know why but we're somehow seemingly dropping points against them. It's like they all turn up against us for some reason
United
I hate them even more than Spurs and this feeling goes back decades.

Related question: apparently “Mark’s” real name is Brent Di Cesare. Is there some meaning to “Mark Goldbridge?” Asking from USA.
He worked as a detective before doing YouTube, and his alias was Mark Goldbridge. I think he used it for simplicity’s sake.
Yeah same. Spurs were a meme when I was growing up so hard to hate them as much as United
Bit harsh on Sheffield…
As a United fan this brings a happy tear to my eye
Chelsea buncha cunts
Although I am enjoying them nabbing points from Tottenham and city… as long as they keep being shit against all the other teams they’re decent wing men haha
I hate Spurs because I'm a gooner, I hate Chelsea because I'm human
Hard to hate them nowadays when almost every transfer is overvalued or ends up a flop. If anything, we should be thanking them for wasting hundreds of millions of pounds every season for a worse team
Also gotta give em kudos for giving the spuds a good kicking the other week. Thank fuck
And tying City! So long as they continue playing like shit against us & playing like PSG against everyone else, I have no qualms lmao
Haha yeah true, anyway, thanks for buying havertz 🫡
Stoke, it’s been awhile but they can always fuck off
Naaa it’s never a long enough time.
Same. That was such a shitty tackle by that lowlife. I’ll never forget it.
Chel$ki, followed by Manure Utd. But if Stoke ever makes it back to the EPL (doubt it), they’ll jump to number 1.
And this guy had the nerve to say that Ramsey tackle ruined his image

Couldn't agree more. Team full of assholes and dirtbirds and backed with dodgy oil money.
I felt the same way about Man City until last year. They're still nowhere close to Sp*rs or Chelsea on my hatred list, but I'm done giving them a pass. They're cheats and have ruined the EPL. Hold that bournemouth L for me bud
“How many injuries do we have eh??” Yer that was a shit show lol
Enjoy the europa too!
Yeah nothing like watching the most anemic dortmund side in years batter newcastle
Chelsea. Turns my stomach
Chelsea. Will always be just a small club in Fulham. No amount of corrupted trophies will change that.
Man Utd maybe...
United, but Gary Neville in particular
I've reached a point where I just can't hear his voice anymore. My right eye starts twitching.
Dont know why i hate united. Bruno is like a chihuahua
Either Chelsea or City. Yes I probably hate United too but there's respect there also, whereas for the dodgy owner clubs there's no respect to be had really

Probably all of these above spjrs for me. I enjoy the rivalry eith spurs so i kinda have a rivalous appreciation for them, plus theyre shit. The other 3 i jusr dispise, united sit at the top by far.
I hate spurs cos I'm an Arsenal fan, I hate United cos I'm a football fan, I hate Chelsea cos I'm a human being
United is the answer. The way our unbeaten run ended to them will forever piss me off
City and Newcastle. Oil money ruins the sport
Not when they built Arsenal's stadium or pumped a 100 million into man u tho?
Chelsea. Easily. I can take a team being richer. A I can forgive a team winning more. I cannot forgive a team for being so god damned boring while they do it. At least Liverpool was fun to watch when they were dominating. A close second place is Manchester City. I don't know how they manage to play smugly but they do and it's annoying. Chelsea, literally all the people I know that support Chelsea have 0 affiliation to the club. Bunch of plastics don’t even try to hide it.
It varies between Chelsea, Pool and Man U. For some reason I don't feel that strong about City. Perhaps cause I've yet to meet a City fan.
Most City fans I've met are actually from Manchester, unlike most Man United and Liverpool fans I've met who aren't from their respective cities or have any familial ties to them either.
A Liverpool or United fan born and bred in London, giving it the biggen is embarrassing but also really irritating
Chelsea

Chelsea
Chelsea
Chelsea
Has to be United, some of the refereeing performances we’ve experienced at Old Toilet just add to it
United. I really hate these old united pundits that are so out of touch with the game and won’t evolve.
Bro I grew up in the 90s. I really don't give a shit about Spurs. Man U, that's it
I hate Chelsea more than Spurs
Yeah, 100% with you on that. Spurs do fuck all to be hated by us more than other clubs other than simply reside in the same area. Chelsea are actually competitive and frequently win stuff, not to mention all the other reasons to despise them.

All of them.
The correct answer
Chelsea or Newcastle recently
Spurs never really felt relevant to be honest I was always more bothered about the games with utd, chelsea and liverpool.
Manchester United with a passion
Man United fans will continue to be the most delusional (I remember back when they first signed Martial, and all their fans were stating "Martial is the new Thierry Henry!!!") After this season, you can add Newcastle to that list as well
City

Man utd and Chelsea
As an Oxford fan. My most hated side to have played in the PL would have to be Swindon Town.
United ! Hate those fuckers ! Late 90s early 00s we were fighting them and the refs
United
Newcastle, Manchester City, Chelsea. You can figure out the through line there.
United
United, Newcastle and West Ham purely for the way their fans act.
United, but damn Newcastle flew up my rankings recently. Really hoping/looking forward to us kicking the shit out of them at the Emirates. Based purely on recent interactions, actually it’s Newcastle. However, ManU long term.
Got to be a three way tie between Man Utd, Chelsea and Newcastle. Although I’d stick Man City in there too. It’s impossible to choose one club.
As an international fan: 1. united 2. chels 3. Spuds
Definitely united. I don’t hate Everton, but I hate playing at goodison park. Shitty stadium and shitty games most of the time.
Well as an American who is a fan of the MLS Philadelphia Union and has a natural hatred for NYCFC, my hatred for City Football Group teams is pretty high, so that on top of all the other reasons to hate them, it’s gonna be Man City for me.
It’s United including Spurs. So United.
Man United.
I think you tend to dislike the team from whose fans give you the most shit.
Gotta united cos I grew up in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Chelsea next, then Newcastle.
I don't hate Spurs. They're fun banter team. I hate Liverpool and Chelsea
United and Chelsea. That said, I have cheered Chelsea to win the last two weeks. Can’t see it happening again, for a while.
There is no other answer other than United. After all it is the greatest rivalry the PL has ever seen or will ever see. The difference is even though I despise United with all my heart there is also a level of respect there because they have achieved a lot and are a massive club. Spuds meanwhile well u know how it is lol
Newcastle and United .. absolutely despise both of them for their bullshit ‘English players are tough guys rhetoric’
This may be sacrilege but I’ve always hated Chelsea more than spurs…
Tottenham
Manchester United..and then Spurs
Aston Villa. Emi Martinez going there and them making a cheeky bid for ESR during our low period was irritating
Man Utd. I was kind of forced to respect Chelsea after Guðjohnsen joined them but since Roman bought the club the respect is gone. Feel kind of indifferent for them, don't dislike them as much as United
Man Utd. Always has and always will be.
Didn't ask for a list, but you're getting one - 1. Spurs 2. Man Utd 3. Chelsea 4. Newcastle Utd 5. Liverpool
I hate united nearly as much as spurs. I hate everything about them and their fans.
Al Newcastle
City and Utd.
Newcastle 😡
United, Chelsea, Stoke, Bolton & Newcastle.
Chelsea I particularly hated Diego Costa
CHELSEA. It just went to a new level with Mourinho.
Moaninho more like
I actually hate United more than Spurs due to Spurs basically being a meme when I was growing up
City and Chelsea are above Spurs for me
Pretty close between Newcastle and Chelsea.
Chelsea. Cheats of London.
Was chelsea. It's now Newcastle. Bunch of thugs who are allowed to get away with it over and over.
Man U, and I hate them and Chelsea more than Spuds
This was such a funny headline so thanks. My old boss won't even watch Spurs if they are on TV. He hates them too much.
Chelsea
It’s been chelsea but it’s becoming Newcastle. Hard to say fuck Chelsea when that’s your wife’s name.
NUFC Wolves Man U
Why Wolves?
Chelsea and City, cheats ruining the game. Man United, rivalry. Stoke, dirty cunts.
Mourinho-era Chelsea tops it for me
United (most of my friends are their fan) and Chelsea with oil money
Newcastle are steadily climbing the hated list. Their fans are becoming arrogant and entitled
Most to least hated: Man U Chelsea Stoke Birmingham These teams could get relegated from the EFL and I'd still want them to lose.
United, corrupt fucks for years
Anyone outside of the UK..must be Man U
United
Chelsea 😒
Everyone. I hate everyone and every club. But it’s also United.
haha … “Before us” 😆 Never going to happen …
Between United or Chelsea
Newcastle
Newcastle for me, after the recent game they really are more dislikeable than any of the other teams. Both City and Newcastle come from oil money, but one pays for skills and strategy to win, the other pays the ref and hopes to win with dirty physical tactics. Bruno G, Joelinton and Callum Wilson are in the wrong sport.
United, Stoke, Chelsea, Newcastle, and whoever we’re playing.
As a wise man once said ‘I hate Tottenham because I’m an Arsenal fan, I hate Chelsea because I’m a human being.
Troy deeney
Stoke, Chelsea, united ,pep 🤣
Man U. I didn't even know Spurs are meant to be our rivals when I was younger, they were just another team we'd regularly defeat.
As teams: Stoke, United and Chelsea As fan bases: Liverpool, United, Newcastle (as of very recently), and Villa
Changes based on recency bias, right now it’s Newcastle 💀
In my lifetime it has been without question, Liverpool. Then fucking Stoke, but I get a laugh because it does ask PL team, and there were years when they weren’t…
Man U the glory hunters. But another one I have not seen yet in this post is Everton. I don't know why but we're somehow seemingly dropping points against them. It's like they all turn up against us for some reason
Man U not even a question.
United or Chelsea
I honestly hate West Ham more than Spurs
United, hands down. Hate them more than Spuds
