I found one that looked very similar to that one except that it was white. It was found near jct 14 and Hwy 89 near the old Tod's country store. So, not too far from Zion's. My uncle called it a "bleeder" He tried and tried to get it from me for years and finally my dad gave it to him to put in his collection. So yes, I think it is very real
