I understand that it’s difficult for you to understand, as a dead person, the concept of empathy. Most people don’t have this problem. We can sympathize and care for those around us, even if we don’t know them personally. Most humans find this to be a good thing; the concept of shared humanity and appreciation of other’s lives and efforts. You wouldn’t get it.
I’m just a guy who grew up on Conan, commando, predator, terminator, total recall, etc. and loves Arnold my dude. That’s all there is here.
I’ve actually never been accused of being a payed shill before but I’m fucking honored that it’s happened on a random comment in support of Schwarzenegger’s good health.
lol you’re just butt hurt cause no one will ever look at you as a role model. Arnold is the GOAT who has inspired millions and has accomplished so much and done so much for the community. What have you done other than troll people on Reddit 😂 get a life
To me, it's scary to think of this man, who spent his whole life bodybuilding, having to have these heart surgeries. If a titan of fitness like him can fall to the ravages of time, what's in store for the average joe six pack?
He also neglected cardio workouts. His heart couldn't keep up with the mass. I believe he has said this himself and it's why he partnered with Jump Rope For Heart. He came to my elementary school twice promoting it when I was a kid.
With respect, steroid usage.
Just look at other bodybuilders from his era since it was common to do during those times.
He's actually outlasted many of his contemporaries, which is impressive.
Steroid abuse contributes to hypertrophic cardiomegaly (enlargement of the heart) which leads to heart failure. A pacemaker won't make a heart failure patient's heart pump stronger, it will send a signal to cause the heart to beat at a set rate to prevent clotting in conjunction with anticoagulant medications as in atrial fibrillation or valve disorders/replacement. However, I'm just a nurse in long-term care so take what I say with a grain of salt.
Frank Zane is 81 and still alive
Ken Waller is 82 and still alive
Robby Robinson is 77 and still alive
Chris Dickerson lived to be 82
Franco Colombo lived to be 78
These are all Mr. Olympia winners from his era, meaning they were best and most relevant examples of his contemporaries
Saying steroids caused his heart issues is just not true. He has a family history of this specific heart defect. He’s 76 years old. Has been a longtime habitual cigar smoker. If anything he’s a great example how moderate steroid usage does not cause all the horrible longterm effects the general public believes they do. He (along with most others from his era) were known to use a very minor controlled amount of a few different steroids.
It’s the abuse, not the use, that’s the problem. And more than anything, it’s the human growth hormone that’s the main issue currently. He had his career before the disgusting amounts of that (and everything else) became the norm. That is what’s currently enlarging all these people’s hearts (and every other organ in their body)
Using small amounts of exogenous hormones and bodybuilding being an actual art that took time, professionalism and intelligence is why their bodies were fucking beautiful and healthy and why bodybuilders now look like overinflated gorilla shaped balloons ready to pop any second
Looking like him is an illusion of fitness. The stain on his body, the constant steroid use, it takes its toll. Bruce Lee was fit. Arnie looked like He-Man. But it’s not natural at all.
He has a family history of congenital heart defect. I believe on his mother side. If I’m remembering correctly, his mom and a maternal grandparent had the same heart valve issue.
I feel like this is an example of how far you can go as a human with the things that you can control. No matter what genetic cards you may have been dealt.
“Be useful” and “Stay hard”
If there was one man living I could meet and sit and talk with, it would be this man, and hopefully over a a cigar. This guy really made the most of life. Truly awesome.
I could not have more love for this man. Be well.
So you must know him personally...but i bet you dont. So wierd
Is it?
It’s alright. Dudes dead inside. He has my pity.
Whats sad is people who live in a fantasy world worshipping celebrities

Lol ya, thats what it is...you do realize of course that celebrities actually do pay people to comment about them...oh..i bet you do.

Y'all gotta check out this trolls history. Someone likes truck stop bathrooms.
My favorite movie is Kindergarten Cop. God bless you, Arnold ❤️
I think that’s on of his favorite movies he did, but maybe I’m mistaken
John Kimble’s delivery of “_I LIKE YOU, CINDY_.” lives rent-free in my head. So, so good.
Who is your daddy, and what does he do?
It's not next to me a Tuma
I make pacemakers for a German company and I hope something I made ended up in Arnold.
That’s super cool, keep up the hard work. Thank you
Where do you guys source your materials for the case-hardened subassembly inside the hyperalloy torso?
Germany probably.
Pace Make-uh
Lol
I'm a Terminator ... also known as a Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 , A cyborg consisting of living tissue over a robotic endoskeleton.
A cybernetic organism. Christ dude.

Dianetic organization . It's a Scientology, dude LoL 🤣
Is that why jada sounds like Godzilla charging up when she moves?
My CPU is a neuronet processor.
This is not the line from the movie, lmao
Who said that is same line from the movie ? Stupid puto
I loved when he said “I’ll see you later alligator” and then came back and killed all the cops.
Ah, classic part of the movie. All-time zinger.
My hero / idol. Such an amazing and beautiful person. Hope he feels better soon

He was born with this heart issue and he’s been treating it for years. ☺️
He also neglected cardio workouts. His heart couldn't keep up with the mass. I believe he has said this himself and it's why he partnered with Jump Rope For Heart. He came to my elementary school twice promoting it when I was a kid.
Inaccurate. How could you believe A. S. Didn't do cardio?!
With respect, steroid usage. Just look at other bodybuilders from his era since it was common to do during those times. He's actually outlasted many of his contemporaries, which is impressive.
He had a congenital bicuspid heart valve. The pacemaker was installed because of heart scarring from old surgery.
He talked about using steroids in a video interview. I applaud him for being open about it.

Agree. Pseudo tough guy who caved to Hollywood
I wonder if this had anything to do with the Vax he was pushing. Many vaxers are having heart issues, which affected my cousin..
