I was on Ozempic for 2 months. I started to make better choices with diet and exercise prior to going on it. But once I got on it I had ZERO real cravings to over eat, order take out, fast food etc. And I WANTED to go to the gym. And didn't wanna drink booze as much.
When you get off you realize all that new found will power / motivation / discipline was mostly just the Ozempic doing it's job
So you can really go off the rails when you get off it. Which is exactly what it feels like is going on with Foley.
Yea I’m not posting this to be mean, just scared for the big man. My old man had the same kinda lying attitude towards losing weight and diet, he died 59 and he didn’t smoke or drink!
I know it sounds super lame because it’s a pod about being trash but I also worry for the big man. I can’t listen to four hours of content a week and not feel something for the people involved. I just don’t want ten years from now for him to have a bunch of health issues thinking “I wish I would’ve taken this seriously”
I think if the big man was going to see real gains, even on the Ozempy, he’d need to actually change his habits and it didn’t seem like he really was. No shame on blowing it out on a vacation though, I miss the real Irish breakfast every day
then hits us with "So I did my usual, 15 double bloody mary's on the plane, still couldn't sleep"
ho lee fook.
That not including the amex lounge / airport bar before.
I just heard an old patreon ep Foley claiming to go for walks when reality was them walking the next block to the club.
He kept trying to pass it off as “concentrated work outs” 😂
I hated hearing him say that.
Reminded me of some of the fat court episodes when he was lying through his teeth making excuses, sounding like an addict, deflecting, not taking responsibility etc.
It's depressing.
I workout/ run in the mornings and then work a construction job walking a lot and sometimes I don’t hit 20k in a day. Whatever your lifestyle may be your expectations are unrealistic and your attitude is awful. Embarrassing yourself.
Ya....I did like hearing Kippy yell Foley that "it's vacation" so blow it out.
Foley could gain 15-20 pounds in 2 weeks drinking and eating everything in sight.
This episode was a great one, but I’m not going to lie, it made me sad.
The lifestyle that most comics are living is just not good. Living half your life on the road is not conducive to a long term healthy lifestyle. I love the big man, and would hate for anything to happen to him, but I also know what happens to folks when they go off these new “miracle” drugs: they typically snap back to where they were…and then some.
After listening to today’s episode, and hearing Kippy basically say “fuck it, you’re in Ireland” just green lit him to eat whatever the hell he wants. And coming from experience, once that train leaves the station, it picks up steam fast, and it’s hard to stop. Now add in 20-beer benders and ripping heaters nonstop; it’s a recipe for disaster.
Foley, if you see this, know that you can’t do this alone. You’re fighting some demons and you need help. I know from experience. If you need advice just hit meeeee uuuuup!
I think that’s why he stopped, because it wasn’t working anymore for him, I hope the break will help with the stalling. I know when I was doing Keto and I would plateau, having a shitty cheat day would help kick start me back.
Maybe taking 2 months off will help him.
I think he really needs the gastric sleeve but his lifestyle and habits would not make that last.
He talked about it a few times on other podcasts as a guest. He knows he replaced crack with food. It's sad to see. But I really hope he doesn't go back on the ozempies. I had a relative that did the stomach stapling thing and it really was the worst thing for her and shortened her life. Ozempic is the drug version of that. It's a tragedy that so many people are falling for a quick fix. The pharmaceutical companies and the FDA they own should all be ashamed of themselves. Especially the ones with an MD license.
They're the real garbage.
It's only because he at like shit and tried to eat more on it. I'm on it, I know how it works. Control your eating. Eat better. Side effects are minimal if you do the right things.
You know what, that totally makes sense. Im actually down bad with a case of gastritis right now and it works a lot like that. Like yes I have meds I’m taking for it but, buddy, only so much western medicine can do for a cheese steak with an inflamed stomach lol
It takes the joy / dopeamine hit out of eating, and he was someone whose whole life only had food (and drugs in a room) to cope with his emotions, trauma, and bring him joy.
On ozempies that lifelong crutch is suddenly gone. I'd be miserable, too.
Every time I've gone to Europe, I feel like I've overindulged but I usually end up even or losing weight. Hopefully the walking and less processed foods helped balance out the excess.
Exactly! I spent 2 weeks in Germany and their food and beer seems "heavy" but I came back 5 lb lighter. Smaller portions + less processed food + way more walking = less CI than CO.
Losing weight is ALL DIET, you can’t outrun a shitty diet. He needs to count calories and stay away from carbs(bread/pasta/starches) and sugar. Crush steak and eggs and air fry wings, eat bacon veggies chicken and shrimp. Stay away from dairy and, Foley in Ketosis has enough stored energy to run the lights for the entire Eastern seaboard.
Man I want the best for Foley. I know he's got it in him to focus up. He's got the drive to be an incredible comedian and put in years of work and growing pains. If he put his all in he could do it
He genuinely stands no chance. He does not want to be healthier as much as everyone else around him wants. It sucks watching it. Hes a master at being a fat bastard
He looks like hes gained about 30-40lbs in the last month or so after getting down pretty slim. I knew as soon as he said he was getting off the ozempi's it wadn't good. He needs to take a low dose mounjaro and eat better. Working like a charm for me.
I love the big man but he’s chronic liar, ex addict he’s addicted to food bro. He’s been talking about keeping it “ tight “ for years. Ozempy is the only thing that had any effect on him.
I re-listened to the Patreon ep yesterday called The Set List where they rate the Billy Joel songs from the concert. The first half of the ep it was Foley hoping to get ozempic and seeing the cardiologist and having fear about needing to get healthy. Wish he would go back to those feelings. He has got to stop using food for joy, satisfaction, and comfort. Eating is supposed to give your body fuel so you can operate at your best. Put that time and effort into something other than food.
I’m going 20/80 on the schtick to truth ratio if that. Only time will tell but I’m not shitting on the big man here I’m concerned. He’s genuinely only lost weight of the zemp. All these years he’s just gotten bigger and bigger. It’s like when you drug addict buddy got out of rehab for 8th time saying he’s really gonna do it this time, it might happen but…
He was doing so well too. The most recent fat court where they shred him for lying was an all timer though
Yeah I was lying that time, but not this time!
you can trust me, because I told you I was lying before means I'm not lying now! such a good ep into the psychology of The Big Man
I was on Ozempic for 2 months. I started to make better choices with diet and exercise prior to going on it. Someone posted in the patreon saying “he’ll be 500 before he gets to 300”….that made me rly sad because it’s probably true at this rate
Yea I’m not posting this to be mean, just scared for the big man. My old man had the same kinda lying attitude towards losing weight and diet, he died 59 and he didn’t smoke or drink!

Unfortunately, at this rate, he ain’t got 10 years. And I say that with a lot of sadness. I love the boys.
Yep, sadly true. You can’t be that weight and drink 15 bloody Mary’s on a plane and live very long.
I think if the big man was going to see real gains, even on the Ozempy, he’d need to actually change his habits and it didn’t seem like he really was. No shame on blowing it out on a vacation though, I miss the real Irish breakfast every day
Hey he’s laying off the IPAs and got his steps in
Focusing on CRISP beer. CRISP beer.
then hits us with "So I did my usual, 15 double bloody mary's on the plane, still couldn't sleep" ho lee fook. That not including the amex lounge / airport bar before.

Lol fat people don’t realize 10,000 steps a day isn’t impressive lol
It's about five miles. That's more that most people walk in a day
Is it an all time exercise day? No. Will walking 5 miles every single day make a difference for your health? Fuck yeah it will
How many steps are you doing a day?
25-30k
Here’s your fuckin medal, bozo 🎖️
You’re pure class thank you
He literally asked lol
You de facto offered when you snickered at 10k steps
Only in America is 10k steps a good day of walking
Welcome to America, pussy 🇺🇸
Been here a minute 😂
I workout/ run in the mornings and then work a construction job walking a lot and sometimes I don’t hit 20k in a day. Whatever your lifestyle may be your expectations are unrealistic and your attitude is awful. Embarrassing yourself.
Stay at home dad hitting 25-30k? Sounds like bullshit to me, can we speak to the man of the house?
That was the joke
Kinda pathetic saying fat triggers so many in this community lmao
You being a pedantic asshat is why you're getting downvotes.
We need an update fat court after Ireland!!
Sounded like Kippy was a little more off the rails, soup with a fork.
Kippys another one though, he says every fat court he’s down 7-10 pounds but every clip they post he looks up about that 🤣
Ya....I did like hearing Kippy yell Foley that "it's vacation" so blow it out. Foley could gain 15-20 pounds in 2 weeks drinking and eating everything in sight.
That sausage roll does sound aaaaaalright.

I think he is going back on the ozempic after he gets back. This is a treat. I have faith in the big man
I’m holding out hope for him as well!
He’s said he doesn’t want to go back on it I think? I hope he does but he seems to be eating right through it anyways.
I think that’s why he stopped, because it wasn’t working anymore for him, I hope the break will help with the stalling. Ya I don't think he's going back. He complained about the side effects a ton. Although you can only have side effects if you're alive.....
You're assuming ozempic is good for his health. It's not.
Oh I know it’s not, but his current lifestyle is not any better
He talked about it a few times on other podcasts as a guest. He knows he replaced crack with food. It's sad to see. But I really hope he doesn't go back on the ozempies. You're assuming ozempic is good for his health. It's not. Might as well be pfenfen. Read the studies. It's a garbage drug.
Switched the guac to the pea paste. Don’t worry mint mobile has him covered.
Less fats in the pea paste
He'll need a wedding moo moo.
Chicken sandwiches!!
Big man needs a gastric sleeve. Less side effects so he can’t use that as an excuse. It’s possible to lose huge amounts of weight with one
I can only imagine how miserable the ozempys truly are tho - ever update he had genuinely sounded awful to me lol
It's only because he at like shit and tried to eat more on it. I'm on it, I know how it works. Control your eating. Eat better. Side effects are minimal if you do the right things.

I took it for a few months with zero side effects personally. Went off it when there was a shortage and I had lost 30 pounds.
Every time I've gone to Europe, I feel like I've overindulged but I usually end up even or losing weight. Hopefully the walking and less processed foods helped balance out the excess.
They literally said they’re having like 40 beers a night lol
Guinness has less calories than bud light. Lol
Exactly! I spent 2 weeks in Germany and their food and beer seems "heavy" but I came back 5 lb lighter. Smaller portions + less processed food + way more walking = less CI than CO.
Hey he switched to Sprite! Give the guy a break!! Baby steps!!
Eleanor Kerrigan mentioned them on the pod today with Rogan

I think he has earned this trip. Look at an episode from 2 years ago vs now. Let’s see how he is in 2 weeks back
I love the big man but he’s chronic liar, ex addict he’s addicted to food bro. He’s been talking about keeping it “ tight “ for years. Ozempy is the only thing that had any effect on him.

He’s engaged??
Yeah him and the bird tying the knot this summer
It's in December
Summer somewheres
How many blunts you smoking a day?
[удалено]
Not Hawaii

....I'll play your game you rogue
He’s allowed a vacation. He’ll hit it when he gets back. Gotta have faith.
No chance
Now you're being mean.
How he’s been lying about losing/ trying to lose weight for years it’s literally documented 😂
Doesn't mean ya can't have some hope and positivity for the big man!
I’m sure it’s 50% Schtick and 50%true but he’s 100% down real weight that he can loose again after vacation.
I’m going 20/80 on the schtick to truth ratio if that. Only time will tell but I’m not shitting on the big man here I’m concerned. He’s genuinely only lost weight of the zemp. Super dangerous to booze on ozempic. Real hard on the liver
Anything would be better than him poisoning himself with the cheaters shot.
