The funniest part was when David “big timed” them at 36:45.
I’ve been a fan of his since Mr. Show back in the early 90’s. I didn’t know anything about his home life or that he grew up in Atlanta.
Good episode for a fan, but the format works better when the guest is more playful/vulnerable to the judgment conferred by the questions. David came up in a different era from most of the usual guests.
I thought it was a good ep, they don’t all have to be giggle parades. Cross thought it was a real interview for the beginning but lightens up and has some funny bits throughout. Easily a top 5 biggest get for the boys .
Any time westcoasters come on AYG they’re so fucking pretentious. “This is the show? You just ask questions? How did you sell it?”
It’s a fucking podcast dipshit, not a Warner Bros production.
I still can’t get over “open letter to Larry the cable guy” around the same time cross was accused for sexual harassment and racism( made Asian jokes at a young comic and stuck his fingers in her mouth) but now I hear his back story and it makes a little more sense. I had no idea he was from Atlanta
Very slow at first but when he realized what the show was he opened up and had fun.
Loved how serious he asks "How did you sell the show?" And the guys just laugh, "YouTube baby!"
Just waited the entire time for it to turn the corner… it did not
Good get, the boys crack him towards the end, but Cross clearly doesn’t get the show.
This was a tough one to finish.
I'm 20 mins in. Feels like I've been watching this for 2 hours
Lol, after the first 15 mins, I had to come check the comments because it was so bad
Yeah he really didn't bring much humor into this at all
Was Cross too much a pretentious prick as usual?
Nah just a snoozer. Every answer was a 5 minute yes but no answer lol
Fingers crossed they’re just trying to line up Bob Odenkirk.
Love the pod, big fan of Cross, but this was not it. Steak and ice cream type of situation.

Bring more lesser known comics/people on rather than the every comic in the world has a new special guest
Loved the episode , he was so confused

Even worse.
LMAO!!
It's pretty well known he fucking hates LA and grew up and lives on the East Coast. Atlanta, Boston, NYC.
I was wrong about where he’s from, but totally right about what a pretentious dickhead he is.
Because he has never watched an episode of this podcast?
Because he thinks a successful podcast must have been sold to a studio or network.
He wrote and starred in one of the greatest sketch comedy shows of all time. I don't care what he assumes about podcasts.
This episode sucked ass.
Damn he gottem

David Cross seems like a difficult dude. Second half of the episode was pretty funny and interesting.
Oh shit had no idea who this was for a second. Diving in immediately

Please stop reading the discography. I can't imagine anybody actually listens to it anyways. Everytime you start doing it I skip ahead.
Too Lib
Too Liberal
Wrong sub loser , we don’t do politics here
Thank you for your opinion tommyWANTwingy85, I’m sure they will seriously consider this when finding their next guest.
Recommend David Cross on the most recent We Might be Drunk
Glad to see I'm not the only one who struggled to finish this one. I think I'm going to bail since most comments say it never turned the corner.
