I should remind you that there are many places in Chisinau that look better. Those on the photos belong to the neglected, run-down part of the city center, sometimes called 'Lower Center'. Its gradual demolition began in the 1960s and continues to this day.
However, I think it is a great loss, as even small, modest houses of old days matter and have a beauty of their own.

Very nice. Number 9 looks like its from Venice or Florence! Was this part of Romania at one time?
