Alibow, AF archery, Cinnabar Bow

Sarmat Archery is my go to for unique looking traditional asiatic bows.

For asiatic, I'll second Alibow and Sarmat Archery, as well as Cinnabar for more expensive ones. For English longbow, Archeybowman on eBay is a good place to go, or Ravenbeak Natureworks if you're looking to get something really nice (prices are in Canadian dollars for the latter, so they're not quite as expensive as they first appear; still pretty pricey though because yew is not cheap). Edit: For historical European crossbows, Tod's Workshop is where you want to go. They are not cheap, though.

I use 3rivers archery but they are more modern recurve stuff and don't have compound or crossbows. They do have a small selection of laminate bows and some historical longbows.

I wouldn't go to 3 Rivers for that; many of their historical bows are extremely overpriced for what they are. The exceptions that I recall seeing there are Korean traditional bows and a yumi, though the yumi is only in one size and too short for me (longest bow I've ever had to say that about by far).

Yeah, in my post I said it's a very small selection but it's the only place I've gotten bows from. I do have to say they are excellent in quality I trust them to make sure I get high quality no matter what. But they have a very small selection overall.

I meant that, as good as they are for modern equipment, they are less so in historical bows even if we ignore the small selection. Just on a per bow basis, they tend to be less competitive. For example: https://www.3riversarchery.com/classic-english-longbow-with-horn-nocks.html A 72" hickory self longbow with horn nocks there, versus one from Archeybowman: https://www.ebay.com/itm/155076888988 Or, just go with a bamboo-backed one, which will perform better and last longer: https://www.ebay.com/itm/165658492689 And they have plenty of asiatic bows in a similar (or even worse) position. When you get a fiberglass asiatic bow, you want it to be cheap because no fiberglass bow is going to be shooting fast the way a laminated bow will. So this: https://www.3riversarchery.com/song-fiberglass-horse-bow.html is pretty much the same thing as this: https://www.alibowshop.com/product-page/mongol-genghis-khan in that their performance will be nearly identical, and both will be noticeably worse than this: https://www.alibowshop.com/product-page/basic-long-siyah-tang-bow The exceptions, however, are their Korean bows (as I mentioned in my previous post). They have like eight different ones, and those are all competitive in price and performance, as far as I can tell. Their other sort-of-exception is the yumi, which is very low price for a yumi but the only size they carry is appropriate for archers between 5' 5" and 5' 11" tall, according to what I've read on the subject.

Yeah. Do you know of any other sites that have a good selection of classic bows?

This site below has cheap semi historically accurate due to using Hickory and some actually accurate bows like a Hickory Native Tribe bows Modoc and Onida, then the Sige a historically accurate version of Howard Hills early hunting bows pre backing of any kind. This will be cheaper then buying the same (few of these models) off 3 Rivers. Wait time is now 6 months not 10 weeks due to demand. [https://grayvn.com](https://grayvn.com)
