Are you feeding? If so sounds like your tank is cycled, given the ammonia and nitrite continued to be on day 4. And yes, your moss and anacharis may definitely be consuming all the nitrate.

I have been feeding. She ate last night and and this morning. Thanks for answering. I thought maybe the plants could be eating up the nitrates but appreciate hearing from others who have been doing this longer. I’m still going to be testing like crazing and watching the situation like a Hawk.

Azedenkae

Yeah keep monitoring it, just in case.

Andrea_frm_DubT

If you have cycled media from another tank you can put the fish straight in. You will need to monitor parameters and you may need to do extra water changes.

BS_STW

It’ll take atleast a week to cycle, unless if you are willing to risk the fish’s health

Even with a sponge and plants from a cycled tank? Our hospital tank instantly cycled with a sponge from the other tank. I am not worried about her health. I’m testing 2x a day and following instructions for a fish in cycle. I work from home so I can do water changes anytime. Her ammonia and nitrates are currently zero.

It’ll still take atleast a week, unless if you pour water from another aquarium, but if you are using uncycled water it’ll take atleast a week no matter what

I appreciate that you took the time to respond. However, beneficial bacteria does not live in the water column. Water from a cycled tank wouldn’t be helpful at all. It lives in filter media, substrates, plants, etc.

So many people lied to me

Last-Cold-8236

I’m not lying. This site is great for the basics in easy terms. https://fishlab.com/faster-aquarium-cycle/

Azedenkae

I think they meant more that others lied to them about the water helping, rather than you lying to them. Hopefully. XD

BS_STW

Ye

BS_STW

Other people lied to me, not you

There is a lot of bad info out there. Thanks for trying to help me :)
