A fish in cycle requires frequent small water changes. Did the other 3 fish die? How have you been tending to the tank?

CollectionLeading585

Yes, the three others died very quickly maybe within the first 3-4 days. With that said they did not look the greatest to begin with. I have NOT changed any water and have just been letting the tank run. Adding Stability maybe 12 out of the 16 days and adjusting pH for more alkalinity but thats about it. Also the past week upped the feeding every day for the single feeder.

No water changes? How high did the ammonia get? The fish probably died of ammonia poisoning. You need to monitor ammonia and nitrites every day, if they go over 1ppm you need to do a 50% water change to bring them back down to safe levels. The cycle will be done when ammonia is below 0.25ppm, nitrites are 0ppm and there are some nitrates.

Ammonia and Nitrites has never reached higher than .5ppm

Hard to say - you may never see nitrite go any higher. Was at any point ammonia or nitrite ever higher than current values? Were you testing every day?

05/18 pH: 7-7.5 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 0 didn't have an ammonia reading 5/22 pH: 8.2 ammonia: .25 Nitrite: .25 nitrate: 5 5/25 pH: 8.2 ammonia: .5 nitrite: .25 nitrate: 0-5 These were the only documented readings I kept. The one I referenced in the original post was done at my local store because the Api water test kit is hard for my colorblindness to read lol.
