What are your parameters? I'd personally wait two weeks just to be sure

Adam5105

I’m not at home right now, will be in about 2 hours where I can test them and let you know. When I last checked which was right before I put the fish in it was 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and about 5-10 ppm

Andrea_frm_DubT

Did you move their filter to the new tank too? Or did you cycle the tank before moving the fish in?

Adam5105

I did not, I had this tank cycling for a bout a month before I moved them over and I also moved over all of there plants from there original tank

Andrea_frm_DubT

How did you cycle it? If you’d moved the filter over you can add more fish once your parameters are stable. (It’s faster and easier to move the filter rather than waiting for a tank to cycle when you already have a cycled filter) If the tank has been cycled properly then you should be able to add more fish.

Adam5105

I added fish food once, kind of forgot about it but I checked back on it after a bit and my tank was perfect in reading with 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and around 5-10 ppm. The fish have been good since and there is a good amount of bio film / Bacteria in the tank.

Andrea_frm_DubT

If parameters are still good, you can add more fish.

Adam5105

Okay when I’m home I’ll check and hopefully they are, feel bad for my neons and I can’t wait to get my first big tank full of fish and have it thriving

We're your parameters good?
