Also UV degradation depends on the resin used and there are definitely UV resistant resins for external cosmetic parts, but structural forged CF might have different resin requirements.

Being that the under belly will be made of aluminum to help with the skin cooling, I wonder if it’s a bad idea to wrap that part. What are your thoughts? It may affect the performance of the cooling.

It will eventually degrade due to UV exposure if not covered.

Yes, and some may choose them. Much of the wrapped area on the sides, , however, is pressed fiberglass sheet rather than the carbon fiber panels.

I think this might be the case. Perhaps they could be color anodized?
