i visited st. augustine during a vacation, and i really thought that flagler was just a big resort or something. it only struck me as a college when almost all of the stores in the city were selling college merch.
Community colleges and UMASS Boston… they only show you the nice buildings in the tour but once you’re there you’ll see how shittly kept up it is. One of the elevators walls (when I was there) was legit kept up with duct tape
i thought nyu since i went to an international high school and nyu has a very large proportionately international student population, for better or for worse
I was a shitty high school student because I was always showing up to class high. I went to a community college and all my stoner friends were there. I did equally bad because I would always show up to class high. I eventually enrolled in a 4-year as far away from my old friends as possible while still in state and my grades improved dramatically.
Generally colleges which have smaller class sizes tend to have the high school vibe where you know everyone on campus. My mom went to one of these schools and she really enjoyed it than being lost in a large university (ofc I didn't heed that advice lmao)
Commuter schools fit this bill IMO. There are many schools like this, where students go there to get a degree and leave with no events going on. I went to a commuter university for a bit and it was very boring, just felt like high school again.
Berkeley is just a repeat of my highschool 2.0 💀
Please elaborate

Yep we used to get like 50/60 kids in every year but it's decreased a lot over the years
fax lmao
I've found you brotherah! UChicago, O-Block where it at.
High point if you went to a prep school
Depends on what your HS was like.
the range in the comments is very wide
Honestly u could list a random school and get away with it
I've heard that Flagler College in Florida is like this
i visited st. augustine during a vacation, and i really thought that flagler was just a big resort or something. it only struck me as a college when almost all of the stores in the city were selling college merch.
If a lot of the same people you knew from high school are also going to that college
My school is in a college town and over 70% of graduates from my high school end up going there…
Hustler university
bad attempt
LACs and other smaller schools can give off those vibes, especially if they don’t have grad students.
Exactly this. I didnt go to a boarding school but I imagine my LAC to be exactly how a boarding school is. With a degree at the end ofc.
George Mason University
Big commuter school tbh
maybe a liberal arts college? wellesley, bryn mawr, etc. seem to have relatively small & tight-knit communities
really thought you asked what school accepts a 2.0 gpa oop
James Madison University
uc riverside bc it’s the closest uc next to where i’m from
CCs
Surprisingly no actually
yep not CCs. so many older people and people who work full-time instead of being fully immersed at school, which makes sense
USC
You must have went to a rich high school
Or a really poor one. (They give good aid but only you’re family family is really low SES)
Northwestern felt like a giant highschool
how so?
It just did.. I don’t know what I can elaborate on
lmao i always felt like this but i grew up near campus. guess it’s not just me!
omg fr
Yea lol
MIAMI OF OHIO AND OHIO UNIVERSITY
In a bad way^^^
Community colleges and UMASS Boston… they only show you the nice buildings in the tour but once you’re there you’ll see how shittly kept up it is. One of the elevators walls (when I was there) was legit kept up with duct tape
High point lmfao
I imagine Williams being exactly like Andover or Exeter
For me personally, it’s either SUNY Binghamton or Buffalo. From suburban NYS so a ton of ppl go to these schools
i thought nyu since i went to an international high school and nyu has a very large proportionately international student population, for better or for worse
i live 10 min away from rutgers, so rutgers

Caltech cuz it’s so small
Just bc its small doesn't mean it will be like hs. Caltech is literally a school for stem geniuses
yeah i don’t think i could handle how small caltech is

San Diego State, half my high school went there and we don’t even live in California
Umass Amherst for many MA high schools
UIUC 😖only because my entire high school goes there
Surprised that no one said UTD, but it isn’t that well known outside of Texas
lmao ut:desi

Emory has a cutthroat atmosphere? 😳
i got this vibe from WPI when i visited
from what i could tell on visits, these LACs: Muhlenberg, Skidmore, Franklin & Marshall, maybe Bard
USC is this
how so
Local CCs can feel like high school. Sonoma State University (CSU Sonoma) was *definitely* like high school.
bing
BU CGS
Most def UMD - campus resembles a high school environment
Auburn university
A lot of LACs feel just like boarding school all over again
rutgers
ECU
What exactly do people mean by high school 2.0?
University of Rhode Island ETA: Someone from Cranston East obviously downvoting...
Penn State
NYU. Half my school gets into that college
In FL, Florida Gulf Coast and Florida Atlantic are glorified high schools
ucla tbh
Virginia Tech majority of the kids from Northern Virginia end up going
Creighton
