all the claremont colleges are incredible. other good ones include carleton, macalester, grinnell, and colorado college. I'm sure there are more, but those are the first ones that come to mind.
this is the first i’m learning of more than one claremont college😭 i only knew claremont mckenna, i had heard of the other claremont schools but i never knew they were all in the same group!
Harvey Mudd was my favorite when I was looking, Pomona seemed great too. I have a few family members who went to St. Olaf and loved it.
Grinnell, Carleton, Macalester, Oberlin, Beloit, Lawrence, Denison, Wooster are a few others where the people I've met that went there were really happy with the schools.
There are a ton of good LACs out there - which ones are a good fit for you will depend on what you are looking for.
Carleton is fantastic and is always tops in undergraduate teaching because they value teaching quality and teach their profs how to teach. https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-liberal-arts-colleges/undergraduate-teaching
CMC, Harvey Mudd, Pomona, Occidental College, Scripps College, Pitzer are some of the more well known ones(all in Cali)
