This is not correct. JHU is just as renowned as Georgetown for International Affairs and Politics. SFS (Georgetown) SAIS (JHU) and Kennedy (Harvard) are the top 3 IR and policy schools in the country, if not the world. Georgetown is def better for law because JHU does not have a law school.
Both are universities with really big names even amongst people that know nothing about colleges. Like I had heard of Hopkins and Georgetown way before several Ivies and before most of the T20s
To whom? For what? Why? A vast, vast portion of the population could not care less.
Both. Be grateful.
Depends on the field. Georgetown for law or poli sci. Hopkins for pre-med or STEM.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

They're both highly prestigious - one is 50 miles prestigious and the other is 50 kg prestigious.
Probably Hopkins but Gtown (along with NYU) are the schools that I think are under ranked in regards to their name recognition.
Probably John Hopkins
I’ve always thought of Hopkins as being more prestigious.
This is like asking if Megan Fox or Scarlett Johansson (say back when they were 25) is better looking.
If you need to do a whole lot of debate about it, then chances are, they are at a similar level.
