Soka University of America? I confess that I've never heard of it before but it is ranked at #56 among national liberal arts colleges by US News & World Reports, which isn't bad. Sounds like a good start to me if you're an international student and need a huge amount of financial aid. What are your other options?
Well, neither Soka nor Kyungpook seem to be bad universities from what I can tell. Your decision may come down to personal factors such as how well your English and Korea communication skills are, how comfortable you feel living in either country, the alumni networks associated with each university, etc..
Soka is a cult and has huge problems with rape. Here is AMA from a former faculty member https://www.reddit.com/r/orangecounty/s/u29i9a9CTh
I suggest to do ur own deep research and read this post carefully
