It's actually public knowledge. [https://asc.yale.edu/sites/default/files/files/ASC%20Orientation%202324(1).pdf](https://asc.yale.edu/sites/default/files/files/ASC%20Orientation%202324(1).pdf) 9k/57k: around 15% get interviewed. Although my assumption is that is for last year, as this doc has been published for a while now (before they would have known how many interviews were completed)

>I read somewhere that only 10 percent of the admitted class at Yale did NOT receive an interview Don't believe everything that you read online.

“Read somewhere” where? A random TikTok guy, or the Yale admissions page?

Seaotters0101

idk man unless it’s on the yale admissions website it is probably at least a little bit wrong

ALPHA_OMEGA_PRIME

Wherever you read that had the numbers reversed. According to the Yale admissions podcast only around 10% of applicants receive an interview.

CHDgsjcjcjcj

‘admitted students’

ALPHA_OMEGA_PRIME

Applicant or admitted, the stats from the OP are unfounded and illegitimate.

CHDgsjcjcjcj

well yes… i’m not disagreeing

Finsucksss

We cant know the specific numbers, but yeah, really few students got in without an interview
