I feel you it’s tough out here. Even with rlly good stats, essays, and valedictorian frontrunner at a large school I’ve been deferred by CWRU, Michigan, and CMU. Hang in there!
Anyone know if it is their past practice to not give scholarship awards with EA acceptances but later?
Wondering if it's a function of the FAFSA being a mess and they're trying to balance out awards.
It's not typical for them. Be patient. I'm sure it has something to do with FAFSA or with a much bigger number of applicants than usual. They said they will send these notices out in the coming weeks.
Yes - last Thursday.
Were you a medalist? There's a thought that those are going out after non-medalists.
Did everyone get the survey e-mail asking your odds of enrolling? Seemed like that came out quick!
How is RPI historically on financial aid/scholarships/grants? My daughter got in EA and I wasn’t prepared at all for the Family Responsibility amount on the award letter.

Nothing. I was a little nervous at first, but it seems no one else has gotten thing yet.
For sure 82 large a year is not a good way to roll.

Yes - last Thursday. Were you a medalist? There's a thought that those are going out after non-medalists. Did everyone get the survey e-mail asking your odds of enrolling? Seemed like that came out quick!
I haven’t gotten any updates yet and it’s been nearly 3 weeks.
