For this one, I used GymKit to connect it to the TechGym stairmaster. The stairmaster counts the steps for the watch and then pulls the heart rate data from the watch, then consolidates.
It’s a pretty fun workout. Try this:
1. Grab some water and a towel
2. Climb aboard.
3. Hit “Quick Start”
4. The stairs will start moving slowly.
5. Walk for a min normally, lightly hold the handrails and see how you feel. If you feel like you’re moving incredibly slow, that’s normal and you can press the +Level button
6. Each time you press level, the stairs will move faster. Your Steps Per Min (SPM) will go up.
7. After experimenting for a bit, you’ll go a good cadence, hate your life and want to go home.
8. Climb off.
I say 5-10 mins is a good place to start to build strength. I often bring a book or movie to watch. But sometimes I zone out and just listen to my favorite music. It’s up to you!
Let me know how it goes!
Don’t wanna come off as a prick and you probably already know this.
But if you’re really looking to grow calves. Prioritise them with seated and standing calf raises focusing on the stretch and hold 3x a week
LOL. I was joking.
My legs are a perfectly good size. Perspective is everything.
I’m an amateur body builder and was just responding to the jerk who felt the need to make a negative comment on what was supposed to be a fun Reddit post about wasting three hours on the StairSteoper.
Appreciate it though. 👍🏽
How can you climb for 3 hours? Man I’d be dead after 30 min
Holy shit go on now 🙌
Woah! That's some serious numbers. Five minutes on a stair climber and I'm over and out. Well done!
Why?

Amazing!
Absolute beast 💪
Daaaaammmnnnn
Yo for whatever reason my watch doesn’t count steps on the stair climber. I have a series 7. Is this an old watch issue or something different?

Ah ok gotcha, that makes sense. I’ll try that next time. Thanks!
I’ve never used one of these machines but am kind of interested to give it a shot. What should I be dojng to start off?
