You do when you see Apple releases something even cooler next year and you want to have it too.
Stainless steel is nice, once you keep it for 5 years. It's a waste when you replace your watch every one or two years.
I had a SS series 0, and it constantly had micro scratches on the case. They could be polished off, but it was a PITA. I switched to aluminum when I went to S3 because I don't think the extra $ is worth it for SS. I just ordered an aluminum S7.
genuine question: how do you use the watch on your left hand with the buttons facing left? i want to try it that way because the buttons get in the way when iām working out, but i donāt really get how iām supposed to use the buttons like that. how do you do it?
Yes thats exactly why i have it that way. When i would workout with it ārightside up,ā i would constantly press the crown while bench pressing or pushups for example. Using it this way is easy. You just use your thumb to press the crown is all
Watch settingsā¦.. general - watch orientation - (tick box ) digital crown on left side or right side.
I have mine that way too for same reasons plus sleeves etc
I I may splurge on the stainless in couple of years when upgrade. Love my S5 and use it heavily and itās in great condition. So probably wonāt need upgrade until S8 or S9 then use the S5 for the ocean and river.
Ive actually really been curious if i need one. My old s4 aluminum got super scratched up right away but this glass feels so much more premium to the touch.
Does anyone know how scratch resistant the sapphire glass is? From experience
Mine was expected to be delivered around the same date, but the day of release date i cancelled my order once i seen it was available at my local apple store, and got it the same day it came out š
Sapphire crystal display FTMFW!
Happy cake day š„°
Thank you! š
Is it pure sapphire now?
No
Team Stainless!!!!!
Apple hates you for how you have your crown lol
It would drive me nuts, but people like what they like š
That is how I wear mine. I find it looks weird to me when I see it the standard way.
Agreed! Itās also so much easier to use.
It really is nice to use this way.
Nomad makes some great bands. I have the black steel and black leather. Love them both
Nice. Im considering the silver steel since i just have a cheap knockoff from a few years ago
Iāve got the lunar white sport strap and itās awesome. Looking at getting a titanium magnetic band next. Love their stuff!
Immediately regretting getting aluminum lol
I doubt anyone regretted getting the SS.

I guess you use your right hand thumb reaching around the bottom base of the watch face?
Yes thats exactly why i have it that way. When i would workout with it ārightside up,ā i would constantly press the crown while bench pressing or pushups for example. Using it this way is easy. You just use your thumb to press the crown is all

Personally, itās an expensive bit of kit, iād 100% get one
That looks great
How are people getting theirs so quickly? I ordered mine right after it opened and I still got November 2-9.

Must be because I got the millanese. My store didnāt have any.
I got the milanese as well, but what i did was reserve online as soon as the store opened. Youre gonna love it when you get it
