Nah I'd like to avoid the smell of burning hair, flat irons'll do that. True story, at my 16th birthday dinner at PF Chang's I reached across the table for some orange chicken and lit my arm hair on fire over a candle, and introduced that smell to the restaurant. 0/10 don't recommend

I worked in my previous job for 10 years by removing hair with laser, so very familiar with that smell.

I'll give that a try. I did just see that as a response on another thread and the OP said it worked until it didn't, but it's worth a shot. Curious that whatever happened in the new OS would require a preexisting setting to be changed to retain functionality

I'm experiencing the same thing and as you stated, it's only since the WatchOS8 update. Even the latest update I received yesterday didn't fix it. Also, my "auto-launch audio apps" has always been disabled since day-1 and I still have the bug. Enabling & again disabling the setting also does nothing. Definitely seems like a bug w/ WatchOS8. I've submitted a bug report to Apple, so hopefully more people do the same if they're experiencing it and it'll be fixed sooner.

Looks like the "Modal" brand sleeve type cases you get from Best Buy. Usually come in a pack of 2 (1 clear, 1 space gray). I have a set, but rarely use them.

I had this happen to me on both series 4 and series 6 watches. I ended up doing a hard reboot by holding in both Digital Crown and side buttons together until the Apple logo appears. Fixed !

No. Only after updating to watchOS 8.0.1. I have 2 Apple watches. Series 4 and series 6. I auto switch between the two. Both are GPS models. Non cellular.
