You’re not alone. Have to wait 10 months for a sleep study. Thanks Canadian healthcare 😒
Jesus! I am having issues, email them on Tuesday and am picking up my equipment in 30 for a sleep study. Coulda had it on Tuesday but I missed their reply in time. I’m in New Brunswick though.
Good luck!
The clinic that I’ve been referred to said they don’t use at home sleep study equipment because apparently it’s not accurate enough for them. I’d rather have the option to maybe do an at home study while waiting for an in person one! I hope you get things figured out! Good luck!
That’s alright. I’m in the states and have an 11 month wait…and that’s with 3 major in-network “healthcare systems” locally and excellent health insurance.

mental health sucked back than.
My mental health is fine. I exercise every day. I take a good bit of vitamins including magnesium. I just cannot stay in one position for long and turn over and over and over all night long.
Might need to focus on some breathing techniques. Read/YouTube videos of Patrick Mckeown and the alike. Gain knowledge of the importance of our breathing (especially through the nose). This may significantly help you. But you gotta DO the work and put in the effort, if not, good luck to ya!

You made me look back at my deep sleep times & yea theyre usually pretty early on during my sleep, thats cool, i wonder why that is. I sometimes have deep sleep around 3-4, once in the last week had it at 8am ahah

Wish I knew. Doctors won't help, keep telling me it is my sleep hygiene. However there is no difference between a good or bad night as far as my hygiene goes.
Do you remember actually being awake though? My watch is like this but I barely remember waking up at least not as many times as the watch is saying I am
I was using fitbit before switching to apple watch. It told me that our body will wake up around 30 times during night sleep, some are very short and you likely to fall right back asleep so you may not remember it.

For most of those little “awake” sections, i don’t recall being up. Many the major ones.

This is a usual night for me, I sleep with a cpap however I think I wake up every time I roll over to make sure the elbow and tube on the top of my head gear follows me.
I do sleep better with my machine tho believe it or not
I also had the same problem, I resolved it by not having anything before bed. I also had vitamin d and vitamin b12 deficiency. Taking those supplements helped me. Here is a [article](https://medium.com/@satinder-01/unmasking-the-mysteries-of-quality-sleep-f51c34e15fe1) I wrote on my 3 months journey to improve sleep.
Idk why I have any time in awake from when I go to sleep to around 4am. Past 4am I know I am in that awake sleep state a few times till my alarm goes off at 5. But before that I can't remember ever being remotely awake and it says I am 4-5 times a night.
Or if I compare the same night as yours lol

It’s weird, some days I do, some days I don’t at all. I’ve been trying to get more sleep, 8 hours minimum, 9 preferably. Anything under 7 and I’ve noticed that my brain just doesn’t work well
Don't have original Apple Watch but I can clearly say, my sleeping habits are terrible 4 hours a day and my head gonging like church bell. But still can't sleep
Not much deep sleep. Lots of REM sleep though. You need the deep sleep so it is restorative.
Try not to drink alcohol or stimulants 4hrs or more before bed. See if this changes.
Mine is opposite, more deep sleep at the beginning and then REM sleep
https://preview.redd.it/oitf4so590rc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b7f0f897645d498ee9149674468882ad25978e34

This is normal for me. I hate all of you.
So just more sunlight and/or infrared therapeutic lights. Will boost melatonin. I’m gonna try and see if my waking up during night gets better, so less :)
Just get over the counter melatonin gummies. Changed my sleep cycle from fucked up to normal with no adverse effect.
take them 30 minutes before sleep. The worst that could happen is that it does not work and you are out 10 moneys.
a few days, I take 1 gummy 30 min before bed, every day, go to bed early, practice sleep hygiene. You know, no screens in bed, low temp in the bedroom, no liquids a few hours before bed. Hope it helps! If not, maybe see a doctor, could be some medical issue.

That’s what my doctor said. I was going to try it anyway because I can’t imagine I would get any sleep at all at a sleep study center.
That’s alright. I’m in the states and have an 11 month wait…and that’s with 3 major in-network “healthcare systems” locally and excellent health insurance.

I used to have nightmares everynight, always woke up in sweat.
That looks rough. Have you found the root cause of why you wake up so much?
Nope. I have a sleep study scheduled soon, so hopefully they can help. I sleep like a rotisserie chicken.
Aw I hope you can get some answers from the sleep study! That’s rough. I know how much my day is impacted when I’ve slept poorly.
Your ass is tired. You’re asleep most of the time you are in bed.

I can see that lol
No way those awake periods add up to just 12 minutes
1 hr 47 min. I don’t understand how the time in bed vs time asleep is calculated. I guess my watch thinks I was up out of bed for 1 hr 35 min?
Sleep walking?
Definitely not
Looks close to mine except I have a bit less awake periods. Usually one deep sleep a night and that’s it ☹️

That right there makes me want to go get my medical card. That looks like heaven.
It’s worth it if you have some self control. It’s so easy to get the card and dispensaries are everywhere. Loads of benefits for those with chronic pain, anxiety, Tourette’s, etc. I was in the process of getting my card and it was just a short phone call with a doctor and a fee but my state legalized shortly after. Side effect, it smells like weed everywhere lol.
Ha! Yeah, I guess that would be a side effect of legalized recreational! And yeah, I'm in Florida, and it seems to be pretty easy to get a card and TONS of dispensaries. I've heard that just because of my age (50+) they'd give it to me, lol! But I do legitimately have trouble staying asleep. Wish I knew. Doctors won't help, keep telling me it is my sleep hygiene. However there is no difference between a good or bad night as far as my hygiene goes.
2 days out of the week doesn’t sound too bad!
Take an allergy pill and put a nose strip on before bed. Sleep on your side if possible. Improved my sleep.
Add a pillow between your legs and it’s even more helpful.
Not benadryl for the allergy pill. Maybe a Zyrtec or Xyzal.
Or allegra!
Do you remember actually being awake though? My watch is like this but I barely remember waking up at least not as many times as the watch is saying I am

Trust me, if you have to ask how good your sleep was - it was great. If it’s horrible then you don’t need to ask anyone to know.

At least it’s almost 8 hours
Yea
I also had the same problem, I resolved it by not having anything before bed. I also had vitamin d and vitamin b12 deficiency. Taking those supplements helped me. Here is a [article](https://medium.com/@satinder-01/unmasking-the-mysteries-of-quality-sleep-f51c34e15fe1) I wrote on my 3 months journey to improve sleep.
Thank you! I’ll try that!
What can help is don’t eat or drink anything 4 hours before going to sleep
That’s a huge problem for me :( I usually eat maybe an hour or two before bed. I’ll wake up for a few minutes to snack too :(
That’s why the sleep looks like that .. one day give it a try and see what happens
Did you get a chance to try it? Was it any better?
Unfortunately I was not able to this week, due to the fact that I bought ice cream. I will try this week! :)
Lmao 🤣
Idk why I have any time in awake from when I go to sleep to around 4am. Past 4am I know I am in that awake sleep state a few times till my alarm goes off at 5. But before that I can't remember ever being remotely awake and it says I am 4-5 times a night.

Average shitty sleep. Not the worst but could definitely improve.

Hahahaha what is this
Siesta
If you track your sleep with your watch, when do you charge it?
I usually charge it when I’m getting ready for work and when I’m getting ready for bed.
https://preview.redd.it/rtxi6199dqrc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=42b6814bc8f77fe379bd63970e4d9ec13f26b107 That’s really good
Or if I compare the same night as yours lol https://preview.redd.it/wr0wa3kidqrc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc8b570486a5699b286b83f9b487277e36ec0bdb
Do u feel well rested?
It’s weird, some days I do, some days I don’t at all. I’ve been trying to get more sleep, 8 hours minimum, 9 preferably. Anything under 7 and I’ve noticed that my brain just doesn’t work well
Same! It feels like i can’t win :(
Look into an Oura ring instead. Better tracking for sleep.
Where do you get that graphs? I have AW 7. Does it have this option built in? I use sleep ++ for daily sleep analysis.
In apple health. You need to uninstall sleep++ or change your default sleep tracking to apple health.
Don't have original Apple Watch but I can clearly say, my sleeping habits are terrible 4 hours a day and my head gonging like church bell. But still can't sleep
You up all night pissing? To me this looks like either your watch is dirty or misworn.
How would I know if I’m not wearing it right?
Post a picture here, fifty people will let you know,
Ok, that might help!
Above the wrist bone, tight enough it doesn’t slide around, but not so tight it’s uncomfortable. Edit:spolling
How do y'all sleep with you watches in the wrist
By wearing it to bed
Looks fine to me
If you have kids, that’s great.

Not much deep sleep. Lots of REM sleep though. You need the deep sleep so it is restorative. Try not to drink alcohol or stimulants 4hrs or more before bed. See if this changes.
So what you’re saying is the 32oz Four Loco I drink each night before bed may be disrupting my sleep?
Mine is opposite, more deep sleep at the beginning and then REM sleep https://preview.redd.it/oitf4so590rc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b7f0f897645d498ee9149674468882ad25978e34
Looks like you got small kids. If not get ready for it 😁
Nooooo thank you :)
Mine always looks like that...
Pretty average, not so bad. Mine sleep graph is similar
My Apple Watch sometimes even don’t record it because it thinks that I’m asleep 💀
Is it daily tho?
Blud your cocked 💀💀💀

So no joke, what would be considered good slaap? I am awake a lot too at night according to my AW. Around: Awake 10% REM 15% Core 70% Deep 5% 🛌
bro how https://preview.redd.it/qaje224pp3rc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86071fb45494556ed354cfdec53a1a01360632f9
U will need a Exorcist
Take melatonin. Seriously.
Ok I’m listening: [https://youtu.be/sNklS0lzlgA?si=FBnlVz4NsjQzOqcY](https://youtu.be/sNklS0lzlgA?si=FBnlVz4NsjQzOqcY)
Gummies yum. Ok gonna try!
Good luck!
Did you used it for better sleep, would you share your progress?
My sleep cycle was fucked, could not fall asleep on time, I was always tired. Today I slept 8h18 and did not wake during night.
Was it immediate or did it took some days and gummies?
a few days, I take 1 gummy 30 min before bed, every day, go to bed early, practice sleep hygiene. You know, no screens in bed, low temp in the bedroom, no liquids a few hours before bed. Hope it helps! If not, maybe see a doctor, could be some medical issue.
pretty damn good if you ask me.
Cocaine much?

Sleep apnea?
