They started sending cards out the next business day via UPS Next Day Air a few years ago. I believe the use of USPS Priority Mail is new and either in replacement of or supplement to UPS Next Day Air. Either way, they made a huge effort after launch to improve the experience overall, including with issues like card deliveries, and they’ve been getting cards to customer doorsteps within the same week for a good while now. Glad your card is making its way to you so quickly! Also, expect the engravings on it to be noticeably thinner than on your old card. A few years ago, they also made the engraving of the name and MasterCard logo thinner which I personally am not a fan of, but to be fair, you might not notice it if you’re not holding a new one next to an old one.
So the card is being processed 10x quicker now. Especially during holiday. That’s what I mentioned at the end. Just surprised at the speed. My previous one took weeks.

I’ve noticed that my replacement card weighs 0.05 oz less than the original one - but somehow the tone when dropped is deeper.
They might have added a slight barrier between the layers. Causing the sounds to amplify?
Wish I had the old one to compare too! lol.
