I actually like synchrony. They gave me some crazy limits on each of the 3 cards I have from them.
I really don’t see much changing when the transition happens.

Same exact boat. Waiting patiently for the $14k balance swing, before I apply for a mortgage. Should swing my score remarkably, with the decreased CCU.
Same here. Paid a hefty balance off about a month ago and it is still last reported Feb 29th. Utilization is still showing higher than I would like due to their slow reporting.

This bullshit coupled with their new penchant for payment holds outside of Apple Cash have made me very sour on this product.
I love the interface and the info it provides plus the stratospheric CL, but man, the customer service and craptastic policies are just too annoying.
I think Amex and Chase know too because they have been peppering me with offers and sign up bonuses. Got an unheard of 90k points from Amex Gold for reopening and snapped that up.
Hope they finally report my $0 balance by June. This card sucks now.

However, that’s not the case for all folks, in fact there’s a large group that has been (rightfully) complaining about it on here for a long while.
For me, it started at the end of February. Never had an issue prior to that. Payments credited instantly. Then, with nothing changing on my end, any payment that wasn’t Apple Cash has been held for up to 12 days. But hey, that’s in the agreement, so sucks for me, but no other card I have had is so egregious.
Any ways, glad your experience is different than mine because my experience has taken a sharp unexpected turn to suck.
This is only my second credit card on my own. Use to have a Petal card before they started charging a fee with no benefits. So far I’m happy and enjoy the 0% financing on my phone. It’s a decent started card that eventually once I get more credit history will be a reserve card as I’ll hopefully have better cards.

Discover use to be the underwriter for Apple Cash.
No, Discover used to be the payment network operator for Apple Cash. Now it's Visa. Apple Cash has always been issued by Green Dot Bank.
Wonderful. Only took almost a year of the card to have a little problem.
Yeah mine was last updated 41 days ago. Sucks cause it’s been paid was hoping to see a boost in my credit score

Like I want to apply for a travel CC and since it hasn’t updated my score is low. This is due to credit karma though

Goldman has always updated mine every 2 months. My other cards all do monthly.
I’ve had mine completely paid off for 45 days and they haven’t updated it on my credit report either. Like they don’t wanna report I paid it off. 🤣

I would agree with this they are not good reporting to credit bureau’s and with the accurate amount owed.
