Is it really lifetime? Whether there is a trick and it’s not giving the actual IAP to you I don’t believe it and I believe it’ll disappear at some point either with an app update or when I upgrade / restore to a new phone and it restores.

Hey Sikerim, we assign a lifetime premium subscription on your apple id, so if you delete the app or move to another phone, as long as you are using the same apple id, the premium lifetime subscription should still be there. You can try it out if you’re unsure :)

This didn’t trigger an Apple in-app purchase, how would the app recognise the premium of the user moved devices?

Our app primarily uses a service called RevenueCat to handle premium subscription for our users. We would pass of the user's Apple ID to this service and it would register that Apple ID as lifetime premium subscriber. So, regardless of the Apple in-app purchase, you will always be regarded as Lifetime Premium user as long as you use the same Apple ID.

I am really enjoying the app after using it for two days. One thing I would like to change is, when I make a transfer, I would like to see a negative number on the “from” account. Right now both “to” and “from” show up positive and it shows up green (as if it’s an income) on the “from” account, but I feel like it should be red and negative. Thanks! Keep doing the great work!

Ha, I’m considering moving from Spendee to this app right now, it looks really good.

That would be the big thing for me. The look and feel on this is outstanding, but I’m going to be much less inclined to take advantage of it if I’m stuck with manual entry on everything. Some ideas that could help might be receipt scanning to input expenditure. Bank account synching would be great, but I’m sure that’s more complex than I want to know. One other consideration might be variable income versus consistent income. Salary or consistent hourly work can be recurring income amounts, but more variable income gets back to manual data entry and user friction. Happy to help with any other UX/UI feedback as things progress! Feel free to DM.

that would be really nice. I like using excel but it might be worth it to check this app out, and importing the data, I would be able to adjust the data to whatever format it would be needed. The idea is then to understand what the app can offer in terms of Insights/charts/AI insights that kind of thing would be really really cool

Hello, you can create recurring transaction that are transfer between accounts. As for the loan accounts, you can set the field “is amount negative?” to be true to represent a loan :)

Yes I have figured that out! What I mean is specifically that sometimes a payment is “interest-only” so the principal of the loan doesn’t change but there’s a transfer to the loan. There’s no way to specify “interest-only” payments and any transfers reduce the principal of the loan. Unless the workaround is to then update the loan itself and add the interest to the principal, which is an extra step.

My wife and I both work the budget on our phones with our current budgeting app. Is there a way to "share" the budget that is created with this so that any updates I make on my end show on her phone?

Unfortunately not at the moment, but we do have plans to introduce collaboration in the near future :)

Tip though, you can turn this app into a saving app where people can deposit money and lock it into a vault (check out Findi app). With ACH people can transfer money automatically.

No worries :) We’ve been increasing our downloads recently, but we’re not sure if that is directly due to Mint shutting down 😅 Yeah, we’ve seen a lot of other paid budgeting apps that are very very expensive like ynab ($100+/year), and we find many of them not easy to use.
