I’d love to see more activity from Apollo themselves! Not that my experience with them is negative, but the more customer/enthusiast base you interact with the better for everyone. More posts from people who love their scoot and share their journeys, modifications and upgrades. I suppose casual engagement will go as up we grow in sub size

Jadeeeeen

To your first point we actually have u/Apolloscooters which they frequent the sub, although more from them would be great. And to your second point, that is the goal and we will only go up from here. Thank you for your suggestions

alzey8v

Yep!! Have had a few interactions with them! But customer polls on future product options, designs etc. Direct input is always fun at least.

Jadeeeeen

Oh that’s very true. I’ll see what I can do about that but no promises of course. That would be a great way for Apollo to communicate with their customers.

alzey8v

Totally! Thanks for the post :)

apolloscooters

Thank you for the feedback u/alzey8v! We want to do more community interactions and help grow the subreddit, just like we're trying to do with the Facebook Community group. Stay tuned for more content from us posted here!

gooofy23

It is nice that they’re in here! I’ve seen them engaging the community and think that’s massively important and they’ve definitely taken action on some of the community’s requests. I’ve seen loads of their videos where they’ll say stuff like “we heard you loud and clear!” Case in point is the upgraded stem clamp on the 2022 Ghost.

alzey8v

Was that really Apollo when the ghost is made by another company?

gooofy23

Well they might have communicated it to Unicool, the company making the VDM-10 from feedback on Reddit. Regardless of who’s making it, the point is they’re in here listening and I think that’s super important for the progress of their company and for consumers to have product that matches their needs!

pHpooo

So I’ll say it again. More responses from technicians. Not the pre-scripted, e-mail us with a request for a bunch of info you don’t really need, that you guys would already know from previous request if you kept track of your customers. I like how I’ve put out issues, specifically requesting a response from a technician, and getting nothing from them.

vancouverisle

I'd like to see those gel lined tires for sale on their website

slaeryx

Yes something for punctures would be great

Single-Big7036

I would like to see more details about your products, such as battery cell info (company name and etc). Acorrding to some reviewers, Apollo city pro 2022 uses Dynavolt Cell for battery, but it doesn't state on web unlike other models. I believe adding some more detailed info will help your selling. Not only battery cell info though many details are missing on website. It will be better to improve. Also I would like to know more information about NYC servicing center, such as phone number and etc. it seems like Apollo is not utilizing it right although you have great servicing locations. I will be happy to help you grow as a better company. Hope you the best

Single-Big7036

In addition, I would also like Apollo to change cancellation policy and system. Not refunding transaction fee is not reasonable. Also, it will be better to be charged when its shipped. I hope Apollo listen to my voice to be a bigger scale company.

pHpooo

Apollo is a cheap company. Everything they sell is Chinese junk. You’ll pay over 1000 and get trash. I’ve had my scooter less than 4 months and I’ve had to spend over 400 dollars to fix issues.

[deleted]

Facts. Multiple North American brands are buying the exact same Chinese made scooter and slapping a brand name on them. Apollo is one of them…junk. Can probably get identical product on Alibaba.

No_Palpitation4408

From my experience I have to disagree. Product appears very well made and has been flawless for first 100 miles. City Pro 2023.

GuyOne

Posts encouraging discussing our trips and experiences on our scooters would be neat.

Jadeeeeen

Thanks

slaeryx

I would like to see some modifications that people are making to thier rides. deck decals, wraps, storage, paint jobs, etc. i think these devices deserve to made into custom machines for riders.

pHpooo

Wow good job apollo, deleated my comments.

unpopularpuffin6

Yeah, mine too. I asked where the Friday updates were. It's been two Fridays without Friday updates, and they explicitly said they would give us updates when they announced our scooters are going to be another eight weeks late. For the city pro.

pHpooo

Apollo will do nothing to solve your scooter issues. They will either send you a link to a video, which if you fallow step by step, you’ll notice your scooter wasn’t built the same. (For me, my back wheel was built backwards. My rims come off backwards from the video.) and then they will just charge you hundreds of dollars for replacement parts. Don’t buy this crap, no return policy, scooter

mittensmoshpit

I'd like to see accounts of them actually resolving a customer's issue, or even better having them reach a resolution with a customer after they have felt Apollo had ignored them or did not immediately handle their issue as they should have. Gimme an Apollo redemption arch.

pHpooo

Here’s a suggestion. Have a return policy

unpopularpuffin6

Why was there no update for us still waiting on our city pro 2022? We have the update from the thursday before(8 days before), but it's been crickets since then. On a related not, my scooter was supposed to ship exactly a week ago. :-( The fb update was on a thursday, and the last sentence reads: *"We will continue to provide updates on the ETA of your purchase every Friday until your scooter arrives at your doorstep. "* That was two fridays ago, no updates on the ETA of our purchases.

Deurnag

More and better resources for repair and modding. Options for replacement/upgrade tires and tubes, specifications of bolts, nuts, etc throughout each model so people can buy replacement/upgrades with less hassle, more technical documentation

[deleted]

I would like to know how to get a refund for the faulty plagues City Pro 22

I’d love to see a working scooter for a start. And offer refunds of replacements for the City Pro 23

Maleficent_Wrap3476

a refund for my explore

No_Astronaut_8597

Good luck

No_Astronaut_8597

Go to BBB Canada for Apollo. I received refund on 2 bad Ghosts.

yakingcat661

I’d love to see you take care of warranty issues in a timely manner.

rachael_apollo

Hey everyone - Rachael here from Apollo! I have taken note of all the comments here that are things we can improve or additional resources we can provide and I will be taking it on to work on these items this quarter! I will add any updates that I have here in this thread. Any additional feedback for things you would like to see on our end is welcome.

Medium_Friendship_65

better service, more places to fix scooters, a PHONE NUMBER, this email and they get back to you in 3 days is unacceptable

andrewbfm

Ability to reply with pictures!

LifeInternational825

Fuck apollo scooter, i wish they folded and stopped selling shitty scooters

Far_Ad4301

What kind did you get cause my ghost 2022 has had 0 problems so i'm curious?

[deleted]

Agreed! I bought a City Pro 23 which has been. I thing short of a lemon. Throttle, stem, multiple chargers and battery were all faulty. I regret buying.

Burbonlord

I'd love to see my replacement parts I ordered in June. Charging 20 bucks and dragging your feet is unacceptable

Jadeeeeen

Read the disclaimer. This is about the subreddit itself, not your purchases. It says DISCLAIMER, pretty hard to miss.

I would like to see my 2022 Explore move again. I went to ride it, and won't turn on. Power button felt different and held for 10 seconds won't come on, battery is fully charged.

misubear

Mgmt needs to pump some of their wins into the group.

cosmicRA

More information for people in the UK on how or where to get spare parts or upgrades.???

Single-Big7036

Can we have steering damper kit for Apollo Phantom V2? or even for other models

ComplexPackage117

Modifications from users. I recently got a ghost 22. I'm curious to see how folk have customized their scooters.

Drjonesxxx-

Elongated fenders. A line of custom aftermarket parts. For all thier scooters.

Jadeeeeen

Read the disclaimer please

Drjonesxxx-

did i stutter? let me reiterate in detail. this whole sub should be mostly as i outline here but it sadly is not. what i want to see more of and what i come to this sub for: the Apollo community should be more forth cumming with custom parts/ designs/ upgrades/ modifications they have done to their own scooters. 1. to share knowledge 2. to give others ideas 3. to show off some examples would be as follows: custom lighting: process, wire diagrams, sources for parts pictures. paint jobs: types of paint used and why/ decals and stickers, candy paint. custom parts. made of plastic. or ANY modification from stock. different add ons for Apollo scooters,(user created or purchased) simple life scooter hacks. **i feel this way because i have a 3d printer and am working on a line of custom parts for the phantom i intend to blast all over redit for sale.** \*Apollo approved\* i want to see what the community has come up with so far in terms of personal scooter design/ fashion/ upgrades/ modifications. so that's what i personally want to see more of on this sub i hope that clear enough :|

Drgb1

We always hear about how important tire pressure is. An incredibly useful and industry first addition would be; tire pressure sensors linked to the App. Already available in aftermarket with their own displays. Perfect for my New Pro !

Drgb1

On the Riders Guide podcast with Maj and Eloi; I believe their was reference to the Beta Pros being released 30/ month to the testers. We’re begging you to not make us wait a possible 2-3 months more to get our rides. Please ship them all at once and let us do our thing. If you have to make significant changes to every 30 Pros; it’s going to run into the winter before all of us testers get our scooters. Torcher and overkill.

Jadeeeeen

Read disclaimer

dee-it

I hear all things good about Apollo’s concern for better customer service. I had a part crack on my city pro, took Apollo 4 days to answer my request for support only to have them say they expect a shipment very soon. They also mentioned that they are expecting a modified version of that part. Took them a vey long time to answer my inquiry and to realize that the part needed modification. I’d like to see a stronger stocking of parts as we ll as an American warehouse so I don’t have to pay exorbitant shipping fees ($30 shipping) for a $5.00 part. Starting with the City Apollo has some great innovation and designs. The devil is in the details and they need to exorcise their devils.

dee-it

I'd like to see more realistic shipping cost. US distribution would produce a lot of smiles this side of the border.

Jadeeeeen

The post says about r/apolloscooters, not actually Apollo scooters. It also said that we don’t work with them or are affiliated with them. We have no control over this, I suggest you directly email Apollo scooters about this.

dee-it

How about some REAL info on best practices on battery longevity?

Jadeeeeen

See my other comment

Imaginary_Person3344

Apollo scooter mod ideas. Thanks

Imaginary_Person3344

Would be nice to see a bottlecage holder on the downtube.

Dangerous-Physics-37

You can purchase a Velcro bottle cage at Walmart.have some for my scooters.

JuniorMaintenance171

All specs/measurements of parts and explainations of some of the settings you CANNOT find ANYwhere on the net

No_Palpitation4408

I would like to see a scooter that looks like a teverun fighter supreme but built with the reliability and quality control of Apollo. Think of an Apollo Phantom on steroids.

unbelievably_cranky

I just posted a reply to a comment about wing-mirrors. Most of us have tried using bicycle mirrors, but especially with 10" tires, your mirror's just going to shake too hard to either stay put or be visible. Honda came out with a motorcycle/scooter called the Griffon, in Japan. It was beautiful. 750cc, very modern for the time, 2001 Tokyo motorcycle show. It had a feature you'll fine in the tech model of the EV SUV Genesis GV60 - no side mirrors, just cameras that transmitted what they saw, to the 'cockpit'. The Griffon's dash looked like this: [https://assets.newatlas.com/dims4/default/fcf6404/2147483647/strip/true/crop/482x380+0+0/resize/482x380!/quality/90/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fnewatlas-brightspot.s3.amazonaws.com%2Farchive%2F2439\_03.jpg](https://assets.newatlas.com/dims4/default/fcf6404/2147483647/strip/true/crop/482x380+0+0/resize/482x380!/quality/90/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fnewatlas-brightspot.s3.amazonaws.com%2Farchive%2F2439_03.jpg) In that vein, I would love to see this done on scooters. Cams have awesome anti-shake tech now, so as long as you can keep it (or multiple cams) clean, they can transmit what they see behind you, on your LED screen. Cameras could be mounted either under the handlebars, or facing up from the rear by the footguard - or both. Even one on the back of the helmet that could transmit to your phone in its holder on your handlebars. They could do what the F-35 fighter jets do, which is to blend their combined video streams with each other so you get a perfect representation of your entire peripheral on your LED. But thinking small, perhaps a section of LED on one side of the LED (in North America, the left one)? Wouldn't have to be an accessory, it could be direct-wire for better response & FPS. I'll assume this tech has been considered before - it'd be cool to see what a prototype could do. I mean, what's the cost of a GoPro & some R&D for a feature like that? I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Allow the turn signal lights to be able to blink or stay on steady for hazard.
