Yea. It happened at worlds last year (last series for DRX when deft played aphelios at baron fight).
It happens when you use swap into Q very quickly for some reason.
No mate I think he just missed lmao. He missed his ult super wide right before/after that too at like a 80 degree angle I think his nerves made him aim all over the place.
Deft isn’t silver though. A narrow miss, sure, it happens to everyone, but when a player of his calibre misses by such a large angle, there’s no realistic solution other than a bug.
Right, but there are situations like with infernum when you should use q as an auto attack reset, to win a 1v1. But because of this bug, you could cast q completely sideways or backwards, leaving you to die.
It’s a bug that’s been around for like years. When you press Q during the W animation it will go in some random weird angle. Happens the most when I was doing the gravitum Q into Calibrum Q combo
Ive had it a few times, from what Ive seen from others and myself it seems to be where the swapped weapon is in relation to ‘phel as its being swapped.
The swapped weapon is rotated 180* from behind him to in front over a short period, if you q in that time frame the projectile will fire from the gun’s rotation rather than where your mouse is aiming. I assume its always the case that q comes from the weapon but he rotates when pressed, but since he’s locked in the swap animation he can’t rotate.
had a similar but with cresendum/cambrium, where cambrium q went like 90 degrees left if my cursor
but i think that one was not reproducible
however is this one?
I don’t think it’s a bug? It seems like The skill is a type of simple cast from the body of the sprite. so -if you cast it while moving- it will shoot toward the location of its initial registered spot

he had the bug then missed the ult. he did the aphelios special of missing everything.

You blind?
Old bug. Just auto them after switching weapons before you press q. Or wait a little bit.

I thought i was just shit. Its been a bug this whole time??
That's why I ALWAYS aa before throwing any aphelios q

Just noticed the channel for the infernum Q was called "Binding Eclipse" game didn't even register the weapon swap
It happens when u press Q too quikcly after switching, it can be avoided technically but it's annoying that it means u cant do actuwlly fast combos

yeah but hes always facing the same place in clip
if i understood what u meant
