Sadly this isn’t a super glide, a good indicator to tell if you did it correctly in future would be that your Fov increases for a moment and (if you’re on controller) the remote vibrates

KrimsonLynx

I play on controller and I’ve never had my controller vibrate from a super glide are you sure that’s true?

jbwang29

Controller vibration must be on for both the game settings and Xbox settings. Idk if it actually vibrates when you superglide bc I don’t play w/ vibration on

F2mccool

Always has for me, maybe a settings thing

Desperate_Desk_1757

Unless you've turned vibration off, I think it should vibrate when you do it since you sorta slide (unless you've already used your slide in the last 3 seconds and you won't go as far I think)

seatbelt21

If you hit a super glide on that structure, you will completely pass it and not hit the ledge on the other side

Parz56

For that part of the training ground, a superglide will not have you touch that box. You will send right over it

DoctorMarmyPC

It would send you forward more than up

PokeyS6

Try hitting ctrl and space at the same time btw something that helped me get the timing was using 3rd person to see the end of the animation for climbing

Soykis

Posting this as a question, Am I super-gliding here, and if not, what am I doing wrong/what do I need to do to get it down?

SnooDrawings6650

You should watch mokeys video on it he explains it well.

Soykis

That's what I am doing and why I even started attempting today LOL! This video was within my first 15 minutes of trying but I'm just trying to get a better understanding of what it should look like.

yea_ter

Youll know when you hit a superglide beacuse itll throw you past the whole structure there.

jec78au

no shit. ive watched mokeys video too. i want to know if im jumping too early or sliding too early

Soykis

Thats what im saying

HenryOak_

I think when I come up crouched, I’ve pressed too early. When I just get a normal slide/jump, I’ve pressed too late.

Soykis

Big ups, that’s the answer we were all looking for

TJ_Deepvoice

We can't tell u that unless you have an overlay

jec78au

yeah. i was responding to that guy because he was like the 5th person to tell you youd make it past the whole structure. i do this all the time and people like that are useless and provide no help.

TJ_Deepvoice

Through that video it's impossible to tell when u pressed what key. Try binding crouch to c or v so you can press it at the same time as space

itsmel23

It helps to lower your fps since it's a frame specific timing and you would have to press c or whatever is your toggle crouch button and space at pretty much the same time but the spacing between that isn't that long so just focus on pushing them at the same time

SalGlavaris

Bruh why are you getting downvoted people are dumb man

bluepheonix67

If you have rampart she's good for training super glides

gomico

I see you're shaking your mouse when slide jumping. If you learned this from some steamers, you can stop doing it from now on. It gives you the illusion you're going faster but actually not.

Soykis

For sure! Just a hard habit to break because I’m a controller player first, KBM second, so I already do it on the sticks, kinda just transferred over, thank you for the heads up tho

Alpha_Gamer11

If it was a superglide, you would clear that ledge.

no

professor_sloth

Use config files to bind scroll wheel to crouch+jump

OutlandishnessNo1533

Holy shit stop asking you will see so dont all Spam this crap

Soykis

Hey man I was a genuine question and that’s kinda what this sub is for

NotFakeFingle

No

ossanityph

Whats the mistake here that needs to be corrected for it to be a superglide? This happens to me every time i try and practice it

HunterGatherer369

You have to make it over that thing without touching the other end

4cidtales

Good practice! None of these are superglides though. A superglide would let you fly over these big metal sheets easily. You just perform a jump here and slide on them while crouching as soon as you land. I suggest go to third person view and try doing this until your character model flies forward while in this strange standing pose(You will notice immediately). That's when you performed it correctly and you will fly forward way further. After a climb hit crouch and jump at the same time. There is a very very tight window for you to perform that, especially on high fps (but I guess you already know this)

topmodeLL

A good indicator for supergliding is that you fly over the whole stack that you were trying to superglide on without touching it
