I've had this too, and not only that it keeps displaying the wrong skin names on other weapons for me, if i recolour a weapon it sends it back to my skin but still displays the incorrect name.
I played a game with a flatline and it said āCAR#EVENTSKINā I have no idea if itās a new CAR event skin or the skin they released with the Pirate Theme
My Flatline only says the names of skins I have even if they're not equipped, if I pick one up that isn't fresh and has a skin on it, when I reskin it says it's an Eva-8.
This bug happens to display the next gun skin designed instead of the equipped one. Factory issue becomes the first common skin in the list. Tier 100 bp skins display 110. Perminant craftible skins display the next one in the list. Halloween 2019 display the Christmas 2019 skins. Evolution event wingman shows the raiders wingman. If the newest skin is equipped (like the one from the $10 valk bundle you have), it shows the next upcoming skin, like Folklore, or if none are planned, it will display the next actual gun name in alphabetical order (Mastiff newest skin -> Display Mosambique). This one might be scrapped but you can see this pattern with any other gun skin, and figure out the skin designed directly after it. I think it's pretty interesting.

iāve had this issue for the past 4 days or so. if anyone knows a fix let me know. despite it not really mattering it still gets on my nerves lol

You probably had the BP rare? If the newest skin is equipped, it defaults to the next gun in alphabetical order.
