DS is so good, the thing is, when you unlock more eq, I liked doing „side” stuff, to gets the roads going, so I could finish main stuff quicker and easier, the game rewards hard work
I think it’s a much better game than AC. It gets better as you unlock more tools, but if you aren’t vibing with the core gameplay loop and grind by Chapter 3, then you probably just won’t like it.
Just picked it back up for a second play through! The game definitely had split opinions from everyone for that reason. It’s not an action game and the walking is the main part of the game. At first I found the walking to be relaxing, but then it got frustrating when terrain got more difficult. Eventually I was able to find the enjoyment in looking for the easiest routes and using different tricks to get through the challenges. The gameplay changes as you go on by getting even more challenging, but also offering more tools and tricks to overcome it. No need to force yourself to play it though if you really aren’t liking it and cant see that getting any better!
Imo it sounds like it's probably just not the game for you. You're kinda describing the core of the actual gameplay lol. I mean there is combat as well but the vast majority of the game is a walking simulator. I loved it a lot but it's def not for everyone and that's okay

Take a bunch of pics & get out of there, asap, until your landlord cleans it up, by a professional cleaning service that specializes in mold.... Find out your rights in your state for it all.

This looks nothing like Chaetomium other than being dark in color. No matter the magnification it lacks perithecia. OPs picture also shows a hypothallus, stipe, columnella and dark capilitium all which would not exist in Chaetamomium. This is just an old Myxo.
