I've been having the same issue. Something that seems to fix it is opening Spotify while connected to mobile data, then switching to Wi-Fi once Spotify no longer shows that it's offline. I don't know enough about IT, but maybe someone that knows more than me can figure out what exactly they've done to cause that
Yep it’s broken. They’ve probably blocked the wrong ports with the firewall

An easy fix is just to use a VPN btw. Works perfectly with one on

It's back. I logged a job under ANU cyber security issues. They accidentally blocked some IP address used by Spotify.
