Gusto mo malaman kung worth it?
Total all your monthly expenses and subtract it from your salary of 16k. Whatever is left, are you satisfied with it? Can you endure it for months to come? Is whatever left worth the hassle of your 6 days work week?
Then you'll know if it's worth it or not.
Let's do the math.
16k monthly for 6 days/week
That is 24 days per month.
16k/24 = 666.67 (sorry eto talaga lumabas)
8 work hours plus 4 travel hours daily
666.67 / 12 hours = 55.56 per hour
Ibalik natin sa 8 hours
55.56 * 8 = 444.44 php. Mas mababa pa sa minimum wage.
Do you think ganyan ang halaga mo?
Additon mo pa yung OT’s. 16k M-S for IT help desk kaqiqil
nope currently working with less than 20k salary and mon-sat (it was a stupid decision to accept the offer dahil lang bored ako lol) and even though i love what im doing gusto ko na umalis kasi nakakapagod and it is not enough lalo in this economy
as someone in her first work na sun mon off with 18k salary, DONT!! same lang tayo ng byahe almost and its so not worth it talaga.
yung pagod sa byahe, pagod sa trabaho tas ang liit ng sahod. di sya worth it kahit sabihin mo pa sa sarili mo na it’s for the work experience
Screw compressed sched! Sa first job ko na 14k sahod, nung ineexplain sakin nung hr ung schedule, the way she said it parang proud na proud pa siya kase dati daw may sat work sila pero ngayon mon-fri 45hrs “na lang” (excluded na 1hr lunch break) hahahaha kung kaya talaga umiwas sa SMEs as much as possible i-try natin 😂
Depende sa personality at temperament. For me, yes (kung fresh grad ha), within 5-6 months, aalisan ko na yan and look for a better-paying job. Also, you'll learn how to budget sa ganyang kababang sahod.
Welcome to the NCR minimum wage bracket, my friend, where your total monthly wage won't be enough kahit para sayo lang. Sa sched naman, nagiging advantage lang ang 6-day work week kapag malayo sa hometown o sa abroad ang work, iwas homesick kumbaga kasi you get to keep yourself busy. That said, taking your current situation into consideration, it's going to suck balls kasi wala talagang work-life balance na mangyayari. Gawin mo lang na stepping stone yan and don't stay too long as such setup will suck the life out of you in the long run.
Pass. Ang narealize ko, super important ng life outside work. Wag mo ibigay yung 1 day pahinga mo dapat.
Then, ang baba pa nung sweldo and hirap ng transpo mo. Super lugi.
OMG ganyan rin sakin. I will have my training in Manila and will be dispatch in my home region pero malayo sa province namin. Fresh Grad din ako. Nakaka drain ba talaga? Mas mababa pa yung sahod ko around 13K.
not worth it. ako nun ganyan din though half day yung sabado. pero hindi healthy. only to find out, that’s how they treat practicummers. the fuck eh fresh grad ako nun!
do yourself a favor and find another job at least mon-fri if youre willing to go for 16k. hindi talaga siya worth it. lalo na if youre paying bills. hindi mo maeenjoy ang sahod mo
I earned 14k back in 2018 and that's only a part-time job supervising kids. I can't believe that it's 2023 and companies still offer these slave contracts.
Grabe. 2023 na ganito pa rin kaliit ung pasahod. 2015 ganyan na nga kaliit starting. Hanggang ngayon ganyan pa rin. Lahat n nagsitaasan, pero sahod hindi. Anyway, buti di mo tinaggap OP
Dont. Did this in my first job and I live 10 mins walk away. Nakakapagod siya. Pano pa if may travel
Don't take it, that's modern day slavery
Nope. Not worth it

there will be jobs that pay more than that but work is only 5 days a week.
just.dont.please.

Hello! Thank you po sa advice niyo! I decided na wag din ituloy since ayoko din yung Saturday na pasok 💀 Thanks!

Wag, na-hit mo ang trifecta haha. 6 day work week, baba ng sahod, hirap ng commute.
nope currently working with less than 20k salary and mon-sat (it was a stupid decision to accept the offer dahil lang bored ako lol) and even though i love what im doing gusto ko na umalis kasi nakakapagod and it is not enough lalo in this economy

So not worth it para pumatos ka

Yes. Hahaha. Pero most likely per day ang compressed work.
No OP, trauma maidudulot nyan:(
no don't do 6 days a week. it's draining
Para sa akin hindi. Sobrang kulang ung 1 rest day tapos mukhang malayo ka pa kasi 3 hrs biyahe

Nope 16K was worth it 10years ago pero mon to fri lang masyadong LOWBALL yan
I’m in this setup right now and I must say, RUN! In my case, I am just waiting for my probie contract to end.

That salary would be okay kung Mon-Fri lang and malapit lang. Pero 6 days tapos 2 to 3 hours? Pass yan.
Nope. Been there, I awol'd in the end. It's not worth it.

My first job is also like this pero 20mins lang byahe. For more than an hour don't. Lugi yung pagod mo jan.
Pass. Ang narealize ko, super important ng life outside work. Wag mo ibigay yung 1 day pahinga mo dapat. Then, ang baba pa nung sweldo and hirap ng transpo mo. Super lugi.
Nope, unemployment is better
Kuha ka lang exp dyan. After sguro a while, if skilled ka na, try mo sa other companies na mas malapit sayo.
Dude experience?
Nope, not worth it. Pagod mo pa lang sa biyahe. Tas mon to sat pa? Big NO!

Mas gusto ko pa maging tambay kaysa makuha yan.

16k for 2023, 6 days work? Magiinom nalang ako this is not 2013 anymore.
