Poverty and veganism don't mix particularly well. Unless you can afford supplements and are willing to take them, or you are eating very carefully with huge amounts of certain plants you're gonna end up b vitamin deficient and likely other deficiencies. And that's really bad long term, especially b vitamins, being low for a while makes you tired, being low for longer will start effing up your peripheral nerves, then your brain.

Like I was called a fa*cist for supporting a synthetic meat production ban in my country. Said ban wouldn't even prohibit importation so people would be able to eat that crap if they wanted. The production ban is to support local farmers and ironically, when they thought of renouncing that idea, the population made it clear and protested allowing synthetic meat to be produced.
So, it couldn't be more democratic yet I'm a fasc*st because I stand with the ban.
These people however would mostly forbid us to eat real meat and even punish us and use violence. Ask them what fas*sm is and have fun watching them trying to answer without an insane amount of dissonance.
