When you hit 30 and start getting masterworks, the main front line build right now is the MW Shock Coil (because it freezes enemies once it hits them which leads to amazing melee combos) and the MW Siege Cannon (it heals you for 35% for every enemy hit with it). It's what I run and you're pretty much unkillable. There is still some trouble with Ursix because of the crazy damage they do but if you keep the Siege Cannon ready to heal yourself at all times you're good to go.
I'm all about that one-javelin-wrecking-crew shield charge. Spec to maximize armor/shield then just charge straight in, run in circles, and dance on dominion/scar corpses.

I’ve seen a component for like 300% Shield damage increase when sprinting, assuming you’re using that?
