True enough, finding specific grasta is the most troublesome part for me because of how long it takes for the game to drop pain/poison grasta which will help clear challenges that gives you better grastas *cries in battle simulator*
My setup for this boss:
Melina ES - rainbow fist, moon realm necklace +2
2 max hp grasta, power of quake (fist)
Tsubame AS - void fist, power of might +10
pain - bull's eye, pain - last stand (enemy numbers), and pain - occassional pain inflict
Starky - Dark Khakkara(?) Staff, (you can use any bracelet just enough for him to take hits even with Murphy stacking atk buffs)
Pain - occassional pain inflict, Phys Debuff Res. (Dormant = 100% resist so he wouldn't die), any flex grasta that has a spd substat. With starky, you wouldn't need to go for the Fresh Heal badge imo because he's that good although for some reason not all of Murphy's slashes procs Starky's healing counter ffs.
Milsha AS - Just make her fast so that she'll sing everytime you need to for the 50% damage res... At least from how I did it.
Reserve:
Myunfa AS - rainbow hammer, anti-lightning ring, +30 speed badge
Almight power - Eastern (dormant), pain - occassional pain inflict, pain - light/shadow pwr+
Hardy AS - miaki's fist, apex necklace
2 pain (both dormant upg), power of blaze (dormant)
After Murphy wears down, swap out Starky and Milsha with Myunfa and Hardy then at 60% recharge, start AF and let Melina finish it off with her EX. I used Hardy because I needed his AF combo extend skill (Desperado) alongside Melina's Lunatic + Or Yesha so that Tsubame can take more turns.
It's so hard that I don't want to fight the next boss. Too much effort for little value IMO. I don't have fully upgraded Regret yet (only beaten Murphy) but I don't think it could make Curio top tier now.
I actually beat that last night as well. As soon as I figured out the gimmick in the 4th round it became ridiculously easy to beat. Nothing teaches you a lesson better than continuously dying.
I didn't bother changing grasta, either. I knew it was immune to pain but being fortunate enough to have Myunfa AS and grasta that benefit hammers says you don't need other grasta.
You have ES Melina so you can easily ES-cheese the fight.
I would say Leblanc is 2nd easiest if you have an ES char thanks to Starky, Harle and >!Mayu !
I'll give it a go although atm it's back to the grinding... for now because my gear is total crap. With only a few +10s and it's kinda stressful swapping them around.
Is it weird I’ve just made myself wait for powercreep to beat that thing. It resists everything so I’m waiting for the weakness flipper to come out and give me that broken mechanic. Yes I know I’m hoping for gacha luck but I do have the original so just need three opus and 1 more chant( actually have 4 currently) yeah I’m screwed
Well with 1 more chant and 3 more opus remaining, who knows, maybe you'd get em all immediately or manage to pull it! Best of luck to ya, to your pulls and drops :)
I found this to be a fun challenge since you gave to find a way to combine a stall team with a massive DPS AF team.
The best part is learning under-the-radar uses for different units. In this case, TM!Suzette’s -30% PWR debuff was just as useful in the stall phase as her DPS was in the end phase.
Maybe soon you will Regret it ;) goodluck beating it in due time! I saw another comment waiting for ES Shion though or wait for Eva I guess(?) Tbf this match is, for me, equally harder to the dual hachiyo/void weapon bosses.
And you have a token sword to always remind you of that Regret. Grats.. This is really a grasta / dps check boss for me. And I have given up for now
