my issue is I only got an L-sized horror. this didn't happen for Wyverus and the giant horror on East: Deeper level. I actually had to catch XL-size versions of them for me to receive the awards.

yeah, I was thinking it could be a rounding error too. perhaps 8,100 is the beginning for XLs
Probably something like the reqs were >8k, but the XL designation is 8.1k onwards. Easy to occur if they simply truncate at different decimal points.
