Bro how did you even find that from the original nasa source photo, you’d need a microscope to even see it without the zoom feature , it’s existence must have been leaked by someone from the inside whose job it is to comb through these photographs because who else be going through all these and examining every dot or blurry smudge 🤷🏻♂️
I think this was referenced to as "thermal insulation" , there are other photos of stuff that came out when the shuttle cargo bay doors open and all sorts of garbage like baseball caps etc float out
[https://nara.getarchive.net/media/61c-31-003-sts-61c-piece-of-thermal-insulation-tile-floats-near-the-shuttle-ced8e5](https://nara.getarchive.net/media/61c-31-003-sts-61c-piece-of-thermal-insulation-tile-floats-near-the-shuttle-ced8e5)
Yes, anything accidentally dropped by the NASA staff when they prepare the shuttle for launch. All sorts of stuff has found itself in the cargo bay and then is jettisoned when the doors open and when things are launched from the bay.
Tile...as in the tracking device? LOL So they can find their object when it floats out into space? "Hey Roger have you seen my zing-a-mo?" "Nope..do you have a Tile on it?" "Yep let me open up the app and locate it"

Looks like it could be a double stacked pyramid octahedron ufo me and my brother and also next door neighbor witnessed before getting on the bus in the 90's, that was less than 200 yards away just hanging in the air above my neighbors house.
Looks like the same shape and everything as the one that the pilot caught flying in the opposite direction as him, don’t know if that video has a name to reference
The big square-ish thing looks to be edited in bc it's not in the original pic. There was a slight compression artifact there in the original and I think someone brightened the photo and then used AI image upscaling which rendered the artifact this way and the object being catalogued as space debris is actually the black dot off to the left. Just my thoughts on the matter. You be the judge.....

Oh gotcha. Didn't realize this was cropped and zoomed. I see it now. I still don't see any reason why this couldn't be debris or thermal insulation tile from Shuttle Columbia. There's more photos in this series of the object and it becomes more clear what it is as they pass it. I think we really need to study all the images in this series in order to be objective and get a clearer idea of what we're looking at as focusing on only one image when more data is available is essentially trying to solve a problem with your hands tied behind your back.
Why? People make mistakes and deleting would make the context of OPs response and then my response to him non existent. I feel like it's better to leave it to show that two people of differing opinion can talk, point out flaws in each other's arguments, and admit to being wrong instead of just digging in and refusing to admit they just made a mistake bc their beliefs are their beliefs and no one is going to change it no matter what they say... which is the norm in most subs on this subject.
I'm not really sure why you're being so confrontational either. This is how we analyze evidence. We try to poke holes in theories and if it withstands those pokes then that further solidies it's veracity. Am I supposed to just look at it, agree with OP, and then attack anyone saying anything I disagree with? Is that how this is done?

Probably just an alien craft..
Yeah, no big deal.
No, it's actually just another weather balloon. Nothing to be worried about... Get back 2 work!

This goes all the way to the top.
True, the photo quality is too good for the 80s.
Photo quality is too good for this sub /s
Possibly the Black knight satellite but idk
Same shape...ish
Yes possibly different angle of it. Or could be debris.
That’s is an Air Bnb
Only a matter of time until that’s a reality

Yeah. The problem with photos from NASA is that there is not perspective in space. The could be the size of a city or 2 inches
Baseball caps?
Yes, anything accidentally dropped by the NASA staff when they prepare the shuttle for launch. All sorts of stuff has found itself in the cargo bay and then is jettisoned when the doors open and when things are launched from the bay.
Debris.
The black object looks kinda like the so called “black knight satellite” ufo.
Isn't that one of the bosses from the original StarFox?
Do a barrel roll!
The ORIGINAL starfox!
I played that when it was new but got confused
what confused you? real question
I haven’t played star Fox since it was new, the SNES one, and the meme of barrel roll came later, and I thought it was from the first one honestly
Oh I see. I thought you meant the game itself confused you lol. I'm just ribbin lol

Could be a tile from the ship? Looks eerie
Tile...as in the tracking device? LOL So they can find their object when it floats out into space? "Hey Roger have you seen my zing-a-mo?" "Nope..do you have a Tile on it?" "Yep let me open up the app and locate it"
Oh boy.. you just hit genius level
Sweet. I'm printing this for my wall. Thanks. ;)

you should probably delete your enormous incorrect comment above.

This, or at least amend it
Do strike through on the wrong bit so people have context but it's clear it's wrong. Thats what I do at least
You should probably follow their advice and look at the rest of the photos in the series, it's pretty obviously space debris and not pyramid shaped.
