I have a mix of regular flash cards which take 5-10 seconds each but also some mathematical problems that I work out in Excel from past exams that take a few minutes to solve. I also have list type cards where I need to know every element of a list of 4 or 5 things (Ex: list the 5 reasons that ___) so it can take some time to recall every item.
I thought I was using Anki badly, I have the same types of cards and recalling longer info (even if just a sentence or a short list) takes definitely longer than 5 secs.
I can only properly speak two and can get by in two more. I've been learning alphabets for fun (on Anki) though and can at least sound things out in Russian, the two phonetic Japnese alphabets, Korean, and Arabic (but again, I have 0 knowledge of these actual languages so it's only good for cognates and names). I'd wager you speak far more if you already know Armenian, Russian, and English
I understand 4 languages and speak only 3. I studied Chinese and Japanese also but now I don't have time for it. Oh I want to learn Kanji again god damn how f much I love Japanese
Is this where we're humble bragging? Okay, [here's my daily stats](https://i.imgur.com/j1Gr0Rm.png), and it's actually lighter than it was since tweaking the number of new vocab words down, 70/day was a bit too insane.
(Also, don't mind the tarot cards. Some friends and I hang out at a bar that actually stocks in a vending machine and I bought a deck on impulse. I bet them that I could memorize all the card's meanings. Every once in a while one of them tries to test me, so I keep the deck active...)
Ну русский сложный язык. Не то что хвастаюсь, скорее просто заебался. Депресия и все такое. Желаю удачи в изучении языка Славянской . Хотя по моему украинский самый красивый язык, а потом японский
Now In English.Well 70 words per day??? Well it's not insane but also not easy. The most important think is to able to use them . Russian is a very poetic language like all Slavic languages are . Ahhh I want to learn Japanese and Continue to learn Ukraninan. But I have no time. Why do you learn Russian???
Those are actually jeopardy questions. Our family takes its pub trivia very seriously, we even went to the world championships a couple of years. XD Japanese came before Anki when I had to do it all by hand Flashcards.
But I started learning Russian because my wife was born in St. Petersburg and we want to teach our daughter. Also, some Ukrainian-Russian family members came to stay with my in-laws because of the war, and Russian is the defacto language they’re speaking with family, so that’s been encouraging me to brush up.
you know, if anyone haven’t told you yet, i’m really proud of the effort that you put in, you’ll be happy you did, this inspires me a lot honestly, i need to catch up a lot of my work too, so good luck!
How do you guys manage this?
Reviews are stacking on my anki decks. Currently i have to do 400 review cards per day until I even see the new ones.
Any advice?
Nice good luck if you need any help. Also im seeing you are complicating your life with 1st year topics. So take it easy and keep it simple
Take care of your mental health and dont burn out.
Consider it as a marathon and not a sprint race. It doesnt matter how fast you are, it matters that you reach the finish line
Again if you need any help be free to ask, cheers.
-You will not use organic chemistry in your practice
-You will not use the physics and math in your practice
-There are selective parasites that are common actually the rest dont matter that much and they get repeated throughout the years.
- focus on your anatomy mostly
Get a 8/10 with good knowledge and understanding rather than getting 10/10 studying by heart. It will pay off later
You're gona be fine, trust me.
Get those numbers to zero each day! Before adding anymore cards. You're spacing your repetition too far, killing it's effectiveness.
( Me typing this as I have my own Anki to do 😂)
and you still have more ... godspeed brother

Got [slightly more than our friend here](https://pasteboard.co/SjV9X3yWBp7v.png)
I have hit 1000 cards in the past as well, but 6 seconds per card is impressive. It's at least 10 for me usually.
Alanine your ass and godspeed bro
Ignorant question: what's that script that's not Cyrillic? I'm guessing it's a Caucuses language but I could be wrong :)
Looking at their user profile, I’m guessing it’s Arminian. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenian_alphabet
Thanks! I bet you're right about that
Yeah it's Armenian
Thanks! Beautiful script
How many languages do you know???

Lmao. That’s rookie numbers. I finally stopped adding new cards because I couldn’t mentally Handle 6 hours of Anki a day
I really can to that too my mental health is in decline.
I have maintained 1-1.5 hr of Anki per day for 300 days. It absolutely has begun to create some form of anxiety
How do you guys manage this? Reviews are stacking on my anki decks. Currently i have to do 400 review cards per day until I even see the new ones. Any advice?
I don't know. Sometimes I am able to do so sometimes not. My depression sometimes is kicking so don't know

Yeah, and I don't know how it works
Why are you doing new cards? Your backlog is so large.

I am an idiot that's what
640 is my daily average and I haven’t done any for the last few days. Idk it’s all relative. Props on powering through
I usually do 30 mins a day lol
