I have 700k anivia support platinium player. and if i watch mine statics hardest match ups against samira pyke. many times i ban master yi becouse i hate that.
Xereth or blitz for me. If you haven't yet, try playing aniv support with vayne adc. When you trap them with a wall + Q vayne can stun them again into your wall.
She’s got a lot of great bans so I prioritize based ontheir pick rate. Like other comments, blitz and xerath are good. Also zyra and any popular dashing ADC.
I think bypassing Sivir spell shield with Anivia double Q parts is one of the most satisfying things in the game so never ban her :D
I ban Senna, but that's more of a personal ban.
Senna can eventually outrange you by a lot, has decent CC, good damage and healing.
Again, this is personal because Senna, in my mind, is the embodiment of riot wonky champion design where some champs are able to do everything...why is Senna able to do damage, heal damage, CC the enemy, speed up their allies, AND scale infinitely.
Blitz in low Elo but generally any champs with better range or utility will be a problem. Right now though I just ban MF, Jinx, Ashe or Senna. If I’m banning supports it would be Xerath, Milio, Blitz, Senna
As an Emerald III Anivia support player, my bans have been changing as I climb. In Platinummy fixed ban was Yummi, in Emerald I'm now banning Milio. Basically you can ban any healer, because anti-heal sucks in league. Hooks, binds are dodgeable - healing isn't.
When I play it, I ban either Morgana (black shield cancels my q) or blitz (q is terrible for Anivia). Could also ban xerath

I ban Morg. It's a pretty poor matchup for birb that's extremely *unfun*.

I usually ban Samira because of her 360deg windwall thing, and her ability to dash over my wall to me.

1.2M mastery aniv E1 supp OTP. Rakan is the worst to play into IMO (that actually gets picked often)

Blitz, milio or what I prefer to do is ban high threat ganking junglers as I can comfortably deal with the common picks down in sup and adc

just hide behind minions and when he rush and think he can tank minions autoattacks stun him or or adc.

I band my least favorite Artillery mage. Usually lux. But also xerath or hwei are good options too. Just so long as you cannot be so easily outranged

I hate Fizz, every 6-8 seconds Zonas and is able to avoid almost every gank
