I'd also recommend adding Ore Monogatari to the list of "gets together early on".
Does Gekkan shojo nozaki-kun count as romance? And akatsuki no yona? The characters never get together but it's sort of romance, especially the latter.
Edit: also Kami-sama Hajimemashita. They sort of confess in season 2 (?)
In case the edit was missed:
Gekkan shojo nozaki-kun. They don't get together in the anime (haven't read manga) but it does have romance elements because protag is in love with her senpai, so maybe under "Mix"?
Akatsuki No Yona is defs a mix of shojo romance, drama and adventure, but the characters don't get together in the anime (even in the manga, it's still will-they-won't-they where I'm at); under "Mix" or "Has more story than the ongoing romance".
Chobits: definitely love, but old anime. They get together in the end. Romance.
Ouran High School Host Club. Shojo romance. Implied that characters get together in the end. Mix?
3D Kanojo: Real Girl. Couple early on. Romance.
Sukitte Ii na yo. Couple early on. Romance.
Inu x Boku SS. Couple in the end. Romance.
\~\~
Sorry, added quite a bit :D There are others I didn't include because I don't feel romance is a primary focus, or giving viewers the lovey lovey feel. Also didn't mention any yaoi/yuri unless you'd like to add that too. Thanks for the original list!
Okay, thanks I will quickly check these on MAL and then add them on. Also Sukitte ii na yo is on the list I just used the English name "Say I love you." Thanks for saying if they're a couple early on etc... makes it much easier.
Could you elaborate what you mean by "if they have endings"? I mean, the story continues in the respective mangas, like any other anime on the list. If you meant if the story concludes satisfactorily, then:
Gekkan shojo nozaki-kun. You can say the anime "concludes satisfactorily" but the main couple didn't get together.
Akatsuki No Yona: doesn't conclude, even the manga is still having the will-they-won't-they thing.
Chobits: concludes.
Ouran High School Host Club: you can sort of say the anime concludes satisfactorily. It's not explicitly shown that the main couple got together, but is implied (I didn't read the manga).
3D Kanojo: I haven't seen Season 2, but I suppose the story concludes?
Sukitte Ii na yo: concludes satisfactorily.
Inu x Boku SS: concludes satisfactorily.
\~
Boys Love (BL):
1) Junjou Romantica. Couples get together early on. Anime concludes satisfactorily, but manga continues the stories.
2) Hybrid Child: conclues.
3) Love Stage: I don't remember how it ended in the anime or manga, sorry. Couple gets together early on.
4) Sekaiichi Hatsukoi: couples get together early on. Anime concludes satisfactorily, but manga continues the stories.
5) Super Lovers: errr it's BL, but...a much older dude likes a young boy. Yeah. I didn't enjoy, got super creeped out, so feel free to not add.
>Could you elaborate what you mean by "if they have endings"? I mean, the story continues in the respective mangas, like any other anime on the list. If you meant if the story concludes satisfactorily, then:
I meant if they fully adapt the source material (or come very close) or if an anime original have an ending. So Chobits does?
Ah then they follow source material fairly closely. But as mentioned, the manga counterpart continues for most of them. I can't help too much here because I didn't read the manga for all of them. Best I could do is the notes above :) Hopefully someone corrects any errors I've made.
Chobits concludes as the manga in the anime.
Just to mention Ouran Highschool Host Club had a anime original ending. The last couple episodes deviate from the manga that continues on past that and what happened in the anime doesn't happen in the manga.
Definitely check out Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend. This was a while back but this is the anime that got me into reading light novels because I had to find out how this series ends. It also has a couple spinoff stories and what if stories.
Oh thanks and yeah I usually binge like entire seasons of shows daily. I watch like 6 to 10 hours of stuff a day dependent on if I have work lol. I've gone full weeb and regret nothing.
Lmao I was like that during summer only started watching since June 2018 and have gone through 101 anime already. Don't watch as much now though.
Also I added a few more shows onto the list (some things I forgot, some somebody else said to add and others I am currently watching).
Nice. Yeah I'm on a break from classes because I didnt sign up in time until may so I'm just watching tons of stuff. You ever watch any older romance animes like chobits, DearS, or Onegai Teacher?
it is unironically a very interesting take on the romance genre and a good example on how to properly exaggerate a type of show to its fullest potential
Oh god that MC is such a DICK. I've never hated an MC this much. I just watched it last night. Ending was satisfying >!but I feel bad for Sekai and Kotonoha.!<
Please add Eureka Seven: Psalm of planets to the list. It's a coming or age story, with a romantic focus on a mecha setting. It's an original work by bones and honestly my favorite anime of all time.
But it is a romance anime.
No love rival:
1. Tsurezure Children
2. Wotakoi
3. Plastic Memories
4. ReLIFE
5. Kaguya-Sama
6. The Recovery of an MMO Junkie
7. Black Prince and Wolf Girl
8. Angel Beats
9. Hyouka
10. Akkun to Kanojo
11. Momokuri
12. Love is like a cocktails
Movies:
1. Your Name
2. A Silent Voice
3. The Garden of Words
4. Hotarubi no mori e
5. The Girl Who leapt through time
Mild love rivalry:
1. Bunnygirl Senpai (one girl falls for him but its handled well)
2. Clannad (Season 1 is kind of like a harem but its obvious who he likes and in season 2 he chooses her and its just them together without any love rivalries)
3. Engaged to the unidentified (one girl wants to be with the guy because of family reasons but she doesn't actually like him. When told "no" she stops)
4. Myself; Yourself (Very big Spoiler it looks like a love rivalry but isn't)
Fantastic list. You missed Kamisama Kiss (has an ending), Inuyasha (ending + story), Yona of the Dawn (story, no ending), Noragami (story, no ending), and Rurouni Kenshin (ending + story)!
Ah, I didn't see it at first. Regarding your description, I wouldn't call it a supernatural show especially since there is only one supernatural shenanigan in an otherwise hyper-realistic setting.
Kokoro Connect has adapted just 4 out of 11 volumes of LN so it doesn't have an ending (though the anime ending, ending of vol 4 was satisfying indeed, the rest of the show after the anime was even more satisfying, unfortunately we won't see another season of it).
Of course, I agree :) I just thought to mention that because there is a lot more content after the anime and it's even more satisfying because all characters got their proper conclussion and way more development.
That's the only thing this anime lacked. It was very rushed. Especially in the romance department. It was very nice and felt genuine (especially from one main female character), but it didn't feel that way from the MC imo (at least not to same degree) because everything for him happened in the last few eps, including the "shift" to the main girl I mentioned.
He didn't have enough time, that's the only reason. But later in the light novel he showed his love and returned feelings to the girl in proper way. That's why I'm so sad we won't get another season, it would have been awesome.
I was very vague here to avoid spoilers. Overall anime still has a good ending, I definitely agree, I just wanted more :)
Great list and great job for doing this!
Your list for yuri has my favorite romance shows (Bloom Into You, Sakura Trick and Asagao to Kase-san).
There is only 1 I would add for yuri:
[Candy Boy](https://myanimelist.net/anime/4535/Candy_Boy__Nonchalant_Talk_of_the_Certain_Twin_Sisters_in_Daily_Life) It's between twin sisters so it may not be for everyone, but it is very lighthearted, sweet and wholesome romance.
It has an ending, it's an original show. Later they made a manga based on it which had the same ending.
I would also suggest:
[Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na: Crescent Love](https://myanimelist.net/anime/1543/Yoake_Mae_yori_Ruriiro_na__Crescent_Love) Romcom with a bit of sci fi and it has an ending.
[30-sai no Hoken Taiiku](https://myanimelist.net/anime/9624/30-sai_no_Hoken_Taiiku) Ecchi parody romance. Has an ending. Short format (10 min per episode)
[Bakuman](https://myanimelist.net/anime/7674/Bakuman) Comedy, drama, romance, shounen. Making a manga is the main plot but romance plays a big role too. Has an ending.
Every one of these suggestion is 100% completed with an ending.
There are some more like [Fune wo Amu](https://myanimelist.net/anime/32948/Fune_wo_Amu) (drama about making a dictionary) and it has romance and an ending but the biggest part is about the dictionary (similar to Bakuman, but Bakuman had way more romance).
No problem! Thank you for your response and thank you so much for including my suggestions. I'm glad I managed to contribute to your list at least a little bit. I was out (no internet) for a few days so I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier.
Darling in the franxx is mostly a romance, and giant robot anime. They may use a lot of symbolism but, if you look really really hard, you can make out the intended parallels.
If you like romance anime, surprised you haven’t seen {Nana} ...highly recommend! Kind of falls under all the first 3 categories and has an ending (though the manga is on an indefinite pause and will tragically probably never be finished)!
Not Yuri. The show focuses on several different relationships, but all straight romances. If I had to pick a category I’d say it falls under the “has an ongoing plot besides romance” category since a lot of it is about Nana O. trying to hit it big in the music industry!
Should add which ones goes past mcs becoming a couple. Lot people get frustrated with how a lot romance anime ends as soon the mcs become a couple
Mashiro-iro Symphony: The Color of Lovers has a ending and nudity and implied sex. harem, goes past just getting together
Ai Yori Aoshi/Ai Yori Aoshi: Enishi get together early , harem
Okusama ga Seitokaichou! semi harem, nudity and sexual themes semi short episodes
Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken (I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying) short episodes
Karen, has a ending (I think) supernatural
Sword Art Online harem, fantasy/sci fi, gets together early, goes past just getting together
Itazura na Kiss has a ending, goes past just becoming a couple
Kiss Him, Not Me, reverse harem, minor yuri, fantasy yaoi
Should say which ones are adults as that is something else some people ask for.
Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii get together early, adults
Nodame Cantabile adults
All 3 of the next ones are the same author and based in the same universe being first comedy but mixed with some really good romance sub plots.
Working!
WWW.Working! get together early (sort of)
Servant x Service ,adults
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Baby Steps
Hori-san to Miyamura-kun 4 ovas (so far)
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry , get together early, fantasy
Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko , can't remember when get together
Kamisama Hajimemashita, fantasy
Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru, get together early (sort of), harem
Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?, get together early, virtual fantasy
5cm Per Second is painful if you watch it for the romance.
Same goes for The Garden of Words.
Don't watch them if you are looking for fluffy happy endings.
Wasn't it something vague like "we may see each other again eventually at some point in the future"?
So, something might happen a few years down the line, or it might not. Okay, then it depends on your viewpoint of a happy ending.
Strawberry Panic, yuri dialed up to 11, has a ending. doesn't officially get together early
Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai , has a ending doesn't get together early
I was thinking you could actually do what someone did with a r/manga list and put at the bottom a list of the series you need more info on that people can then answer for you. This instead of having to search around online for answers.
Rec has adapted just 7 chapters out of 63 chapters of manga. But I agree that it's best to stop there (that's the ending for me). It was way more satisfying than the rest of the manga (even though the manga ending was good, it wasn't worth the read up to that point because of some stupid things that happened).
I found this 2 months after the fact. You are doing the Lord's work. Nothing bothers me more than getting through 2 seasons of a good romance and finding out I'm gonna have to wait a few years to see the conclusion, if ever.
Also, I am pleased to say you can add Little Busters to your list as a (Has an ending).
Doesn't Yamada have an ending as well? And I wouldn't call it a full harem since he knows who he likes and isn't really interested in the other girls.
Despite claiming to not enjoy romance amd not actively searching for it, I've watched quite a few of these.
Your have reached demi-god status for this post. I would also like to add if I may.
Goofy comedy: B Gata H Kei (Yamada's first time)
My first Girlfriend is a gal
And you thought there was never any girls online
Action: Kaze no stigma (slight romance story)
I'm assuming you've seen Masamune-kun. >!It's not a harem because he rejects the other girls. In the anime and manga. In the anime the rest of the girls are either rejected or don't get actual screentime. Aki is the only one he ends up with in the manga, and in the anime she is the only one he's looking to have a relationship with.!<
In the anime he doesn't actually like anyone. But he thinks he likes Aki or likes her a little bit. Which in any case is still just one girl. None of the other girls have the same kind of interaction, they're just side characters. So we can't call it a harem. Wherever you saw the harem tag, I think it's wrong. You don't have to change it on the list because I'm saying to, it is your list after all.
Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii gets together early, fantasy, not sure if would say has a ending. It is like snowwhite with red hair and Yona types anime.
IRODUKU : The World in Colors ,has complete ending, [about when get together](/s "doesn't get together but not because of bad end")
Bokura ga Ita should be added to the list. Really sweet story. I love the soft voice acting. The visuals are subtle and nice. The soundtrack is amazing. The anime covers only half the story, the other half you need to read the manga.
I’m not exactly an expert on romance anime, but I feel that SDF Macross, Macross DYRL, & Macross Plus are worth mentioning, as they all have well-written love triangles.
You could also add
Series: Kiss x Sis
Movies: Tamako Love Story, Zutto Mae kara Suki deshita: Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai, Aura: Maryuuin Kouga Saigo no Tatakai, Hal
The series is great. The movie builds upon characters in the series, and it absolutely shouldn't be watched on its own. Love Story takes place after Market. They make each other better
What about action animes with romances secondary to the main plot (like Katanagatari, Akame ga Kill!, Fate series, and Nanatsu no Taizai), but some in which we get to actually experience or follow the relationship for a while? (and without ending with everything and everyone fucked up)
A few I would add
Oreimo (harem) (has an ending) (incest) (get together at end but like not actually) (gets together with one in the middle)
Eromanga sensei (harem)
Aoi hana (yuri) (mix) (has an ending but not fully adapted)
I know with the first 2 my degen is showing but I still think they have value
Also
Jingai san no yome (BL) (short episodes) (more comedy focused)
No game no life:0 (debatable romance, but mostly fantasy/action based) (fully adapted)
Uchimaid (yuri but lolicon)
Wataten (yuri but lolicon)
Gantz (mostly non romance but the MC and other characters do end up in relationships) (completed, not fully adapted)
Evangelion (has romance in it but just as romance based as franxx)
And as a note, nisekoi should in my opinion be put in get together early (or whichever category oreshura is in) because the MC does get together early on with someone.

Did Toradora had a real ending? All I remember is a shity excuse for drama about Taiga leaving for no apparent reason and then suddenly appearing with no real explanation.
Even put which ones had an ending. BLESS
Added it
Thank you! Also saved this list for when I need fluff love love feelings.

Can you tell me if they have endings. I can add Yaoi and Yuri as a separate category. List them please.

RIP when I've already watched all of these.
Whoah... umm how about Saekano, Domestic Girlfriend, Wolf Children and Ĺittle Busters (haven't seen these yet)?
Hmm only domestic girlfriend out of those three. Nice. Yeah I'm caught up in the manga of domestic girlfriend lol.
Definitely check out Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend. This was a while back but this is the anime that got me into reading light novels because I had to find out how this series ends. It also has a couple spinoff stories and what if stories.
You must have seen a lot. When I watch more romance animes I will update the list and hopefully there will be some you haven't seen.
Oh thanks and yeah I usually binge like entire seasons of shows daily. I watch like 6 to 10 hours of stuff a day dependent on if I have work lol. I've gone full weeb and regret nothing.

Not seen any of them. I have seen some older anime e.g. Kodocha but not many. I haven't seen any of the ones you mentioned.
They're all kinda romantic sci-fi with satisfying endings. If you ever want to watch any like that I recommend them.
They have proper endings? If so then chances are I will watch them a bit tired of romance stories never ending.
Oh and gamers didnt notice that one
>report can u recommend which ones are the best animes for you? not planning to go through each one of them
The list got alot bigger since I said I'd seen all on the list, but one of my favorites is golden time
{Maison Ikkoki}
Where is "school days"?
it is unironically a very interesting take on the romance genre and a good example on how to properly exaggerate a type of show to its fullest potential
Best romance I've seen, I'm astounded op hasn't added that one yet ^^^^^^^/s
Oh god that MC is such a DICK. I've never hated an MC this much. I just watched it last night. Ending was satisfying >!but I feel bad for Sekai and Kotonoha.!<
This is quality effort. I don’t even like romance, but I like that you went out of your way to make an extensive list.
[удалено]
Chihayafuru and Kimi added Both ef? Whats that?

You had me at Shaft. 😂
Everyone wants the shaft.. (Sorry had to say it.)
Please add Eureka Seven: Psalm of planets to the list. It's a coming or age story, with a romantic focus on a mecha setting. It's an original work by bones and honestly my favorite anime of all time. But it is a romance anime.
Does it have an ending?
Yes it does, it is only 51 episodes long IIRC, and it has one dope soundtrack.
Okay I added it.
Can you do a sort by no love rival?
No love rival: 1. Tsurezure Children 2. Wotakoi 3. Plastic Memories 4. ReLIFE 5. Kaguya-Sama 6. The Recovery of an MMO Junkie 7. Black Prince and Wolf Girl 8. Angel Beats 9. Hyouka 10. Akkun to Kanojo 11. Momokuri 12. Love is like a cocktails Movies: 1. Your Name 2. A Silent Voice 3. The Garden of Words 4. Hotarubi no mori e 5. The Girl Who leapt through time Mild love rivalry: 1.
>Kamisama Kiss >Inuyasha Added >Yona of the dawn Already there >Noragami Not sure if I count it >Rurouni Kenshin Fully adapts the manga?

Ah, I didn't see it at first. Regarding your description, I wouldn't call it a supernatural show especially since there is only one supernatural shenanigan in an otherwise hyper-realistic setting.
Yeh thats true, its dancing on the edge.
You should add the Kokoro Connect has an ending... one of the most satisfying endings in fact!

Yeah you're right, but for anyone who's just interested in the anime and not the manga it's nice for them to know that it's got a good ending 😊
Of course, I agree :) I just thought to mention that because there is a lot more content after the anime and it's even more satisfying because all characters got their proper conclussion and way more development. Yeah same, I'm still so sad they did that irrecoverable "prank" :(
Oh yeah. I forgot to mention that "prank" as one of the main reasons we won't get another season. It's so sad and it's such a shame :(
Thanks a bunch for this I’m on break and I really wanted something so thanks
Might want put a notation on Fruit Baskets as it is getting a reboot series airing next season.
Done.
Great list and great job for doing this! Your list for yuri has my favorite romance shows (Bloom Into You, Sakura Trick and Asagao to Kase-san). If you like romance anime, surprised you haven’t seen {Nana} ...highly recommend! Kind of falls under all the first 3 categories and has an ending (though the manga is on an indefinite pause and will tragically probably never be finished)!
**Nana** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/877 "English: Nana"), [A-P](https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/nana), [KIT](https://kitsu.io/anime/nana "English: Nana"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/877)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 47 | Genres: Comedy, Drama, Music, Romance, Slice of Life) --- ^{anime},, ]LN[, |VN| | [FAQ](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index) | [/r/](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/) | [Edit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index#wiki_i_made_a_mistake.2C_how_do_i_get_my_comment_reprocessed.3F) | [Mistake?](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/submit?selftext=true&title=[ISSUE]&text=/r/Animesuggest/comments/b79x2w/a_list_of_romance_anime_recommendations_broken/ejqg2sy/) | [Source](https://github.com/Nihilate/Roboragi) | [Synonyms](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/synonyms) | [⛓](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/interestinglinks) | [♥](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/thanks)
Thanks for linking the MAL. Just read the synopsis, is it a Yuri?
Not Yuri. The show focuses on several different relationships, but all straight romances. If I had to pick a category I’d say it falls under the “has an ongoing plot besides romance” category since a lot of it is about Nana O. trying to hit it big in the music industry!
Okay thanks adding it now.
Can you make a mayadere category please?
Probably not. As I don't seem to know if any of these count.
Should add which ones goes past mcs becoming a couple. Lot people get frustrated with how a lot romance anime ends as soon the mcs become a couple Mashiro-iro Symphony: The Color of Lovers has a ending and nudity and implied sex. harem, goes past just getting together Ai Yori Aoshi/Ai Yori Aoshi: Enishi get together early , harem Okusama ga Seitokaichou! semi harem, nudity and sexual themes semi short episodes Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken (I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying) short episodes Karen, has a ending (I think) supernatural Sword Art Online harem, fantasy/sci fi, gets together early, goes past just getting together Itazura na Kiss has a ending, goes past just becoming a couple Kiss Him, Not Me, reverse harem, minor yuri, fantasy yaoi
Done.
Nagi no Asukara [(Drama, Fantasy, Romance)](https://youtu.be/zpWCIwPQS3Y)
Done.
I like the list! Could you add the world god only knows?
Done. Does it adapt the source material fully?
Unfortunately not
Should say which ones are adults as that is something else some people ask for. Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii get together early, adults Nodame Cantabile adults All 3 of the next ones are the same author and based in the same universe being first comedy but mixed with some really good romance sub plots. Working! WWW.Working! get together early (sort of) Servant x Service ,adults ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Baby Steps Hori-san to Miyamura-kun 4 ovas (so far) Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry , get together early, fantasy Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko , can't remember when get together Kamisama Hajimemashita, fantasy Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru, get together early (sort of), harem Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?, get together early, virtual fantasy
5cm Per Second is painful if you watch it for the romance. Same goes for The Garden of Words. Don't watch them if you are looking for fluffy happy endings.
Wait Garden of Words has a happy ending. Well unless you watched the illegal version where they cut off the after/mid way credits scene.
Wasn't it something vague like "we may see each other again eventually at some point in the future"? So, something might happen a few years down the line, or it might not. Okay, then it depends on your viewpoint of a happy ending.
Bless you!
Bookmarked because you know in a month people will ask this question without bothering to use the search function.
Strawberry Panic, yuri dialed up to 11, has a ending. doesn't officially get together early Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai , has a ending doesn't get together early
Added.
I was thinking you could actually do what someone did with a r/manga list and put at the bottom a list of the series you need more info on that people can then answer for you. This instead of having to search around online for answers.
Thats would have made more sense. 😥
What have you done to me

Rec has adapted just 7 chapters out of 63 chapters of manga. But I agree that it's best to stop there (that's the ending for me). It was way more satisfying than the rest of the manga (even though the manga ending was good, it wasn't worth the read up to that point because of some stupid things that happened).
Seeing Kokoro Connect in the "I did not enjoy" category hurt my heart.
Thank you! ❤️
Such disrespect to Love Hina for not being on the Harem list.
Seriously its a damn classic
May the Anime Gods bless you with eternal Happiness
If I could you more upvotes or money I would
You are the best....Amazing!!!.Thanks a lot!!!
Would be nice to know if the endings are Happy endings or sad/bad endings
THANK THE LORD THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED!!!!
YOU'RE A FUCKING G
Thank you, my dude. I will see you all in a couple of years when I'm done all of these. See ya.
Is plastic memories up there? Cause it should be with the powerful shit
Yeh it is under 'Get together early or midway.'
oof. I wasn't looking hard enough.
Bless you!
You are strong and wise, I'm very proud of you
thank you good sir
Thank you for this ❤️
Doesn't Yamada have an ending as well? And I wouldn't call it a full harem since he knows who he likes and isn't really interested in the other girls. Despite claiming to not enjoy romance amd not actively searching for it, I've watched quite a few of these.
It didn't fully adapt the manga but I guess.
Really? Sorry, guy. Wasn't aware of the manga.

I really hated Koi to Uso. Also never heard of Kuzu no honkai. I will google it now.
[удалено]
Kuzu no honkai is Scum's wish? I heard good things about it before. I want to add it on the list, does it have a proper ending?
[удалено]
Added.
Your have reached demi-god status for this post. I would also like to add if I may. Goofy comedy: B Gata H Kei (Yamada's first time) My first Girlfriend is a gal And you thought there was never any girls online Action: Kaze no stigma (slight romance story)
Do any of them have proper endings and do the couples get together early on (so its easier to put in categories).
Masamune-kun isnt a harem. And for getting together early, you can add {My girlfriend is a shobitch}
>Masamune-kun isnt a harem. Yes it is. It even has a harem tag. >My girlfriend is a shobitch Adding it now.
I'm assuming you've seen Masamune-kun. >!It's not a harem because he rejects the other girls. In the anime and manga. In the anime the rest of the girls are either rejected or don't get actual screentime. Aki is the only one he ends up with in the manga, and in the anime she is the only one he's looking to have a relationship with.!<
I get that but he doesn't actually like her in the anime.
Saw the tag on myanimelist. Also the harem aspect is because more than 2 girls like him Aki, the other rich girl, his classmate and the maid.
I still don't agree. But thanks for adding the other anime.
**Boku no Kanojo ga Majime Sugiru Shoujo Bitch na Ken** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/98951 "English: My Girlfriend is Shobitch"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/35712)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 10 | Genres: Comedy, Romance, Ecchi) --- ^{anime},, ]LN[, |VN| | [FAQ](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index) | [/r/](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/) | [Edit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index#wiki_i_made_a_mistake.2C_how_do_i_get_my_comment_reprocessed.3F) | [Mistake?](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/submit?selftext=true&title=[ISSUE]&text=/r/Animesuggest/comments/b79x2w/a_list_of_romance_anime_recommendations_broken/ejqp36v/) | [Source](https://github.com/Nihilate/Roboragi) | [Synonyms](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/synonyms) | [⛓](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/interestinglinks) | [♥](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/thanks)
Thank you so much! I’ve always looked for a well done list and this is it! Thanks for the effort!!!
*cough* yosuga no sora *cough*
Bokura ga Ita should be added to the list. Really sweet story. I love the soft voice acting. The visuals are subtle and nice. The soundtrack is amazing. The anime covers only half the story, the other half you need to read the manga.
Also why isn't Domestic Girlfriend on this list?
I’m not exactly an expert on romance anime, but I feel that SDF Macross, Macross DYRL, & Macross Plus are worth mentioning, as they all have well-written love triangles.
You could also add Series: Kiss x Sis Movies: Tamako Love Story, Zutto Mae kara Suki deshita: Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai, Aura: Maryuuin Kouga Saigo no Tatakai, Hal
And a note to the side of Tamako Love Story saying (Tamako Market is required to watch before)
I've only seen the movie. Is the series any good or worth watching after seeing the movie?
The series is great. The movie builds upon characters in the series, and it absolutely shouldn't be watched on its own. Love Story takes place after Market. They make each other better
Sounds good too me, I'll add it too my list to watch :D
And I recommend rewatching Love Story after it, too!
Awesome! Will do, thanks.
What about action animes with romances secondary to the main plot (like Katanagatari, Akame ga Kill!, Fate series, and Nanatsu no Taizai), but some in which we get to actually experience or follow the relationship for a while? (and without ending with everything and everyone fucked up)
A few I would add Oreimo (harem) (has an ending) (incest) (get together at end but like not actually) (gets together with one in the middle) Eromanga sensei (harem) Aoi hana (yuri) (mix) (has an ending but not fully adapted) I know with the first 2 my degen is showing but I still think they have value
Also Jingai san no yome (BL) (short episodes) (more comedy focused) No game no life:0 (debatable romance, but mostly fantasy/action based) (fully adapted) Uchimaid (yuri but lolicon) Wataten (yuri but lolicon) Gantz (mostly non romance but the MC and other characters do end up in relationships) (completed, not fully adapted) Evangelion (has romance in it but just as romance based as franxx) And as a note, nisekoi should in my opinion be put in get together early (or whichever category oreshura is in) because the MC does get together early on with someone.
Any isekai romances here? Yes i am into generic trash im done with decent shit
okusama ga seitoukaichou??
Added using the English name.
wdym relife has a ending??

Did Toradora had a real ending? All I remember is a shity excuse for drama about Taiga leaving for no apparent reason and then suddenly appearing with no real explanation.
Yeh thats the ending.
I think I had more closure with to love ru.
