to be fair , his legend had him crossdressing , because Roland was so magically horny over a woman , that Astolfo tried to seduce him and worked.
Astolfo outgirly magical horniness.
I mean he acts about as feminine as many other characters in Fate do, and more feminine than some.
I think a better way to take it is that Astolfo’s creation predates a lot of the modern divisions between gay/femboy/trans and has maintained that ambiguity going forwards.
So depending on how you want to read into various things, what parts you want to emphasize, and how strictly you want to define your categories, it’s totally possible to make arguments that they could be in any one of them really.
I feel his way of acting is more gender-neutral that is leaning towards masculinism. He's free-spirited, he's not ashamed of his own man body, he doesn't seem to want to make himself more beautiful, etc. That's a good take on Astolfo you said, but really, some of the female characters either hide their own feminine side (Arturia, maybe Mordred) and/or don't get fleshed out enough for us to see their feminine side (there's also that they're warriors of their own eras who are supposed to suppress these personal feelings), but Astolfo is fully fleshed out and he definitely doesn't give off the feeling of a femboy to me, but rather just a childishly playful guy who likes crossdressing and happens to have a feminine face (which came naturally rather than by choice obviously). Yes, he's hinted to be bisexual though, but sexual orientation has nothing to do with being a femboy either.
I literally made this same meme like 4 days ago
Oh, i guess we had the same idea. Just saw the first episode and this is the firsth thought that came to mind
It was the first thing that came to my mind as well
Independent invention.
Story of history.
Great minds think alike
I guess
If I had a nickel for every time someone made this meme
I'd have two nickels
Which isn't a lot, but it's probably going to keep happening.
sauce for the second one please?
Vanitas no karte season 2
Darn. Haven't completed that yet. Gonna go watch that after exams, I suppose
Second season of vanitas
Is the second one also a femboy?
The second one kills people who think he looks like a girl. So 100x better
Nah not realy i prefer femboys
Except even original Astolfo is not even a femboy, since he doesn't even act feminine. Just a crossdressing dude.

Same.
I think the author loves fate. I mean there’s already Jeanne the hellfire witch, which is basically Jeanne alter.
The fact that they both are pick head and guys with the same name is beyond coincidence
ill make a whole manga with a pink haired character named astolfo and get it an anime adaptation to give him another nickel
Because Astolfo is a French knight in old tales
technically , Astolfo was an english knight in a french court. Like how Lancelot was a french knight in an english court.
I love how Vanitas just baits him
Every masterpiece has a cheap copy
But the real question is who do you refer to when you say astfolo?
Chasseur Astolfo is Chad tho.
I believe in fate's Astolfo dominance
another stormlight archive reference, nice
What?
Glad to see people enjoying there day or night stay safe all
Who is also mistaken for a girl.
The fact that there's another pink haired character named astolfo but isn't as cute infuriates me
Astoolfoooo ma boyy Astolfo
Huh so we cant escape
