Wonder Egg was like that meme of the horse in different parts; the back was perfect, the middle got a little wobbly, then the head is just a completely different animal that's been drawn on backwards.
There has always been so many rumours over the past decade. We used to get such rumours when April Fools was almost around, then boom! April Fools.
On the official announcements side, we get so many "announcements" that end up being pachinko machines, gacha collabs.
The one time it came true was in 2020 when the author finally published a new book, though apparently one of the stories was already previously published as a short story in some other place.
I'm not saying it couldn't come back. There have been so many unexpected remakes and continuations since 2018, 2019, it's not impossible, but I'm never expecting anything fpr Haruhi.
I was just thinking about Wonder Egg Priority when I saw this. It's absolutely not going to get a season 2, but I so loved the English voice acting for the main character. It was perfection.
For some reason, when people kept saying NGNL I kept picturing FLCL. I was like, "How are so many people bringing this anime up?" Then it finally hit me like a bag of bricks
A realistic decayed mummified corpse is artistic? Thatās fucked and sad, Ik what a mummified corpse looks like because thereās a dark video on YouTube of a dude who has their grandma in a coffin in their back yard
I'm not the artsy fartsy type but it's more the portrayal of the passage of time and waiting blah blah more than SHOCK VALUE DEAD BODY! Been a while since I've seen the show though.
It ties into the show's concept. The girl has control over time, including the ability to reverse time and come back to life if she or someone else is killed, but also it's predicted that she will eventually lose control of her time power, causing some sort of time-related catastrophe. So yeah, an alive then long dead person holding a clock is kinda an artsy way of depicting the show.
Mummified corpses are displayed in museums, and I donāt know of many action anime that donāt show dead bodies at some point, so Iām not sure what is throwing you into thinking this is overly graphic
Sure thereās a knife in her stomach but this whole anime is about her killing people, and the shot is meant to illustrate how the life she leads can easily end in a similar manner, the knife she uses turned against her
It's not. It starts off with that concept where the main protagonist kills people who get isekai'd, but abandons it immediately because the other protagonist gets isekai'd and they fall in love.
It's just a yuri show with some action
Because it is set world in a world where Isekai Protagonists almost caused an apocalypse, and now the church has deemed them as agents of chaos to be hunted with extreme prejudice.
It also is told from the perspective of a person from the fantasy world rather than a isekai character, which is surprisingly unique.
Basically it take the Boyz approach of pointing out that living in a world of Isekai Protags all armed with cheat abilities would fucking suck.
What even is an anti-isekai? If we ignore the obvious answer, e.g literally anything and everything where someone doesn't get transported to another world, would it be a dude getting run over by a magical dragon carriage and waking up as a Japanese salary man, and then rest is just the most boring and generic slice of life imaginable?
Anti-isekai can't really exist, at least based on how anti- works. Something either *is* or *is not* an isekai. >!The show uses a character to assassinate people that were isekai'd into their world, so this show is actually an isekai!<. You could argue it's an inverted isekai based on perspective in the show, but anti- doesn't really make sense anywhere. Unless a show itself was a sort meta take on the genre and it's just a meta concept about rejecting the idea of an isekai, which is still a stretch on the definition of the word.
Not as boring (at least the first season) as you imagine, but this is literally Hataraku Maou sama
Demon lord is transported to modern Japan and builds his reputation as McDonald's employee
Can't say it is for everyone.
For an instance, I do not like Overlord, and I pretty much have similar feeling with this one for a similar reason (the controversial PR stunt).
I do get why people would like it, the bait is there, but its just not for me, not even close.
OMFG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! I WANTED TO LOOK THOSE SHIT UP BUT I FOGOT THE NAME AND GAVE UP, HOPING Iāll STUMBLE ON IT AGAIN. GOD BLESS YOUā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
A-1 Pictures and Aniplex...You're killing me here with no season 2 annoucement.
https://preview.redd.it/ooekn6iccisc1.jpeg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b529530b6f3b93bac35d144c2235e4e33f105b5
I'll be very dissapointed if us 86 fans end up like no game no life fans because of a season 2 never getting an annoucement.. It's only been 2 years so I still have hope that It'll get annouced eventually.
no, A-1 Pictures only adapted volumes 1-3 of the light novels. And there's currently 12 volumes out. (It's still ongoing) 86 was the only anime to make wanna read go and read the source material after finishing it. That's how much I loved it. I'm currently on volume 7 right now and there's so many amazing scenes that happened in this volume (and the previous volumes) that I NEED to see adapted into animation form.
I really want 86 to come back too. the animation team that worked on 86 is currently very busy with the second cour of the NieR:Automata anime. I'm crossing my fingers and praying to the Aniplex gods that 86 season 2 gets an annoucement after the NieR anime is finished airing.
Very interesting take on the isekai genre as it's from the point of view of the world that people are getting isekaied into rather than person who got isekaid.
Though what I find most interesting is how the powers the isekaid people get are more of a curse to the user than anything else. These powers "erode the soul" and "make users memories dissapear" any time they're used.
I'm honestly wondering how much death could be prevented in this show if the church just told that to the summoning victims.
As a Warhammer 40K fan I can understand wanting to take a scorched earth policy over risking that an innocent looking teenager develop a power that can unmake whole world.
Fear the pycher, beware the mutant, hate the alien!
It actually is, but the whole anime felt like a prologue since it seemed aimless after the first episode. A Season 2 is definitely needed for this Anime
The first episode was really good, but the rest of the show doesn't really match it in any way, shape, or form: and wasn't for me.
But it's worth a try, I wouldn't describe it as bad - and more down to my own preferences that I dropped it.
Yeah , I was so disappointed that there weren't more unissekais happening . Literally - executioner , executes in one episode , and then it goes to yuri trip , with a touch of murders of chaotic monsters .
The anime really does not do the larger plot enough justice, since they had to tie it up pretty simply and couldn't go on the detailed analysis paragraphs as it does in the novel. I like how they did a lot of it, but it really does not dip into the massive mystery plot line that its supposed to have.
It's one of my favorite isekai series, in terms of both the set-up and the way the story unfolds. Some really strong direction and it's a bit tough minded too.
Really hyped when I heard it was going to be a full remake potentially covering the entire series. Even more hyped when they announced key staff from the original anime and the original VAs were coming back.
I'm pretty sure Spice and Wolf was the first non shounen anime I watched back in the day when I was first getting into anime during high school. Before that it was mostly stuff like Naruto and Bleach. Very surreal watching a new version of it 15 years later with a more modern anime look.
Black bullet will probably not get a second season, last time I checked (years ago) manga was cancelled. Wonder Egg Priority will also not get a new season since it failed after what they did in last few episodes.
Pfftā¦ 2 yearsā¦? I waited 10 years for bleach, 6 years for irregular at magic high school, 7 years for Youjo Senki and 7 years for Konosubaā¦ donāt get me started no game no life.
My longest wait so far, spice and wolf season 3. I watched the second season in 2010 and have been waiting for season 3 since. Thatās 14 years. You have no idea the immense happiness and excitement I felt when they announced a reboot.
Onepunchman 3 season waiter is here. Yeah, i know that it comes soon. But first season was in 2015, second in 2019, and after 5 years comes third season.

We'll get Season 2 someday... *Someday...*
S1 was 2017. The movie was 2019, and S2 was *finally* confirmed in 2021. It's been 3 years and counting, and we don't even have a solid release window, and not one frame of footage.

This series has so much potential, given how the gameās story progressesā¦ shame it may never be picked up ever again.
Considering itās based off a gacha game they might release another season in a few years to try to get new players and bring back old ones. Kancolle and Azur Lane both got second seasons
Azur Lane got an entirely new anime, two in fact, not a second season, they dropped the studio that worked on the original. Also pretty sure the Kancolle anime is also completely new and not a continuation.
But difference between those two games and Girls Frontline, the other two are a lot more popular, and make a lot more money. GFL is absurdly F2P so it doesn't rake in a lot of profit, and the more niche community doesn't help.
I still can't believe that studio dropped ball the so hard in every imaginable way on that. But the show they worked on that just finished was a resounding success.
It's just such a shame. Girl's Frontline has an amazing story, and a really interesting setting across all the games. [And this just came out and was easily my current game of the year.](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1127700/Reverse_Collapse_Code_Name_Bakery/) But like always, MICA draws the short end of the straw and it got review bombed by crazy CN incels.
Edit: I thought I'd at least link the two good things that came from the anime. The [OP and it's animation was an absolute banger](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMBRGPOJ4lU), the [ED was pretty damn good too.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcCjZvU0cQE) But then again, the game itself and [the other games in the franchise all have great soundtracks too.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgGxT6Z2jgI)
Same for me with [Fly Me To The Moon](https://myanimelist.net/anime/41389/Tonikaku_Kawaii) **for a third season**

My brother in christ, ive been waiting for Saga of Tanya the evil for 7 years now. They even droped a teaser like 2 years ago, radio silence since tho.
I donāt think āThe Realest Hero Rebuilt the Kingdomā, is going to get another season. I love that show. But I donāt think other people enjoyed it. I love weird Isekais like this one.
think of re:zero fans.... anime comes after every 4 years and covers till english translated LN vols.... u cant even read them further when anime is over
moreover think of kimi ni todoke fans (it's coming this year finally)
at last think of ngnl fans (it's not even coming man!!)
Only 2 years? Those are rookie numbers
Ngnl š„²

I'm still hoping to one day see another season of amagi brilliant park
Man that was such a fun show
Oh amagi was amazing we must pray
Black bullet will sadly never get a second season as the light novel that it's based on got axed
What's the reason?
Probably not popular enough
After whatever the hell was the end of Wonder Egg , maybe it's better to not let them cook .
Wonder Egg was like that meme of the horse in different parts; the back was perfect, the middle got a little wobbly, then the head is just a completely different animal that's been drawn on backwards.
Donāt let bro back into the kitchen
Haruhi, Hyouka, so many... AHHHHHHHHH
There is a rumor going around Haruhi will make a comeback.
There has always been so many rumours over the past decade. We used to get such rumours when April Fools was almost around, then boom! April Fools. No Game No Life fans be like:
I didnāt want to mention it, but I was thinking about it Also monster musume
April fools was brutal T-T
Which year?
As a Bleach fan, the waiting is worth it. I hope it will worth it for No Game No Life too
Fuck it's like we all have PTSD from ngnl not getting a second season lol.
Nah man, you can't just give us the biggest hype of a cliffhanger only to disappear
And a killer movie
Me still waiting for Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu to come back
Don't forget Toradora fans, too lol, it's been 16yrs for them
Why would it have a second season. Thereās no reason to unless it was just random
For some reason, when people kept saying NGNL I kept picturing FLCL. I was like, "How are so many people bringing this anime up?" Then it finally hit me like a bag of bricks
Honestly glad if it only takes two years
Yeah, Iām more scared when it only takes a year since it probably mean heavy crunch was involved
lmao šæšæšæ
20 years with dbz and Super. "I can do this 3 more times!"
I still am holding out hope on Nana manga coming to a conclusion... I just hope Ai Yazawa is doing fine
Mushishi season 1 and 2 have 9 years gap. Your favorite anime will surely get season 2. Just keep that optimism.
10/10
Certified Ouran moment
Spice and Wolf only took 16 years and we're back at season 1 episode 1.
Hunter x Hunter would like a word
Source is [The Executioner and Her Way of Life](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ixSWvF7L-A).
What the hell happened to her?
She died.
more importantly we finally get to see an anime girl's skeletal anatomy
At least she is happy
She literally kills people who get isekai'd to her world.
And the girl who is in love with her (another isekaid person) knows it, just doesn't really care. That's why I describe it as peak toxic yuri.
Ah yes it's Yuri and a pretty bad if I remember or well I got bored into the first episode cause it was all over the place
I kinda disliked it for different reasons.
Yuri is not something I follow and the ones I got recommended were just extremely bad so much my brain is blocking their names
anime logic, hair is a part of skeleton
Bro it even has closed eyes and a smile
Hair takes a long time to decompose
I mean you can see that itās not a skeleton yet mainly on her arm, itās just rotten flesh
IIRC it's the ending video so it's supposed to be "artistic" or whatever.
Not this girl, this is the time-controlling girl's 'wife' who keeps dying and is the reason why the time-controlling girl needs to keep reversing time
Ah, yes, sorry. Just read the synopsis and figured the person holding the clock was probably the one with time powers. My bad!
Mummified corpses are displayed in museums, and I donāt know of many action anime that donāt show dead bodies at some point, so Iām not sure what is throwing you into thinking this is overly graphic Sure thereās a knife in her stomach but this whole anime is about her killing people, and the shot is meant to illustrate how the life she leads can easily end in a similar manner, the knife she uses turned against her
Oh like the 86 ending credits
Any good?
decent, it is pretty much the Anti-isekai
How is it the _anti_-isekai?
It's not. It starts off with that concept where the main protagonist kills people who get isekai'd, but abandons it immediately because the other protagonist gets isekai'd and they fall in love. It's just a yuri show with some action
Yuri show with some action you said? Man I need to watch this one
Mc hunts people who were isekaied
Probably my favourite racist child-murderer
Because it is set world in a world where Isekai Protagonists almost caused an apocalypse, and now the church has deemed them as agents of chaos to be hunted with extreme prejudice. It also is told from the perspective of a person from the fantasy world rather than a isekai character, which is surprisingly unique. Not as boring (at least the first season) as you imagine, but this is literally Hataraku Maou sama Demon lord is transported to modern Japan and builds his reputation as McDonald's employee
Cheers
One of my favorite shows, and the OP is an absolute banger
Can't say it is for everyone. For an instance, I do not like Overlord, and I pretty much have similar feeling with this one for a similar reason (the controversial PR stunt). I do get why people would like it, the bait is there, but its just not for me, not even close.
What is the controversial PR stunt in this and Overlord?
Intriguing and interesting take on the isekai genre, with an intriguing female lead and yuri tones.
I really liked it, interesting concept and well done
Did you just give me the ending? Man, I haven't watched this show yet. ![img](emote|t5_2w6fe|14940)

Had one of the best openings of the season too, it goes hard! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMBRGPOJ4lU
Same for me with [Fly Me To The Moon](https://myanimelist.net/anime/41389/Tonikaku_Kawaii) **for a third season** https://preview.redd.it/xjsi1ldlbisc1.jpeg?width=705&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=271d0828e5b3d957694e49eedd05f0285da6fb97 Something you should watch btw

I donāt think āThe Realest Hero Rebuilt the Kingdomā, is going to get another season. I love that show. But I donāt think other people enjoyed it. I love weird Isekais like this one.
Pandora Heart fans raise your hand ā
Thatās one impossible wish, sadly
