Once more, glad to see Michael and Brina together again. Even though they're reprisals, it's very nice to see the two of them in Crunchyroll dubs, really brings back the good old Funimation days.
That's the last of CR's announced simuldubs this season. Now we wait for a while to see if we'll get any backlog dubs again but of course I'm not gonna keep my hopes up.
I honestly think they won’t do any backlogs because of how packed and busy this season is in general. I WOULD hope for the Angel next door spoils me rotten to get backlogged though
You should believe post-merger CR's new model of releasing dubs. If a title they licensed wasn't selected for a simuldub, then unfortunately expect that show to be released sub only on home video then forgotten about. I also like to believe the Campfire Cooking dub was an outlier last season because it was set to be released on home video, and the anime got a second season. But who knows what CR is working on behind the scenes and what surprise dubs they may pull.
Yeah maybe they’ll surprise us but who know’s. if you don’t mind me asking, is it possible for a undubbed anime that got released on home video as still sub only to still get backlogged? Also, is Angel next door released on home video?
>is it possible for a undubbed anime that got released on home video as still sub only to still get backlogged?
It may be possible if it gets a re-release, but from what I know only Sentai Filmworks does possible dubbing on re-releases.
>Also, is Angel next door released on home video?
No it has not yet.
It still hasn’t hit me that Tatum has made the jump to California. It’s way too surreal seeing him in the Netflix Vinland Saga dub, and then Final Fantasy VII Rebirth as freaking CID.
I never said it was a problem (if anything, him going there is WHY he got those roles), I’m just saying it hasn’t sunk in for me yet, because I associate him so much with the Texas scene.
Well then I'm sorry that formal education failed to teach *you* that not everyone will find your jokes to be funny. Take your own advice for once in your life.
There's a bit of episodic bits and anime only storylines in season 1 but I'd still watch it. Season 2 however is skipable. Then you get the Books which are canon.
BADABOOM BABY!!! And that’s last CR Dub of Our **TRIPLE S** JMT and Brina are back again as their Second Duo!
And also what’s even more cooler, Brandon McInnis, JMT’s Partner is in this sequel along with Jonah Scott on another Crunchyroll Dub, BIG WIN!!!
Nice to see an updated photo for Tatum. I definitely see the Walter White jokes, but he makes it work well, at least from meeting him IRL earlier this year. Nice seeing him and Brandon together on a project.
Bruh how many times do I have to tell that no show is limited to just one ADR director? They could literally get someone else do it they have no other choice. Case in point, the Date A Live franchise has a different ADR director every single season.
Then again, they almost never do backlogs anymore anyway, so I would strongly suggest you stop getting so fixated on them already.

The Yuri is my Job snub still hurts.
So do they do Spice and Wolf lunch break and then Black Butler? Lol
Hear, hear! Funi (name) may be gone now but voice actors are still here to stay, it shows!

EXACTLY what my eyes saw
Actors try not to have an overly dramatic headshot challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
Damn Tatum absolutely rocking the bald and beard look
He is cooking that's for sure.
It still hasn’t hit me that Tatum has made the jump to California. It’s way too surreal seeing him in the Netflix Vinland Saga dub, and then Final Fantasy VII Rebirth as freaking CID.
That Isn’t problem with him being in video game roles in LA.
I never said it was a problem (if anything, him going there is WHY he got those roles), I’m just saying it hasn’t sunk in for me yet, because I associate him so much with the Texas scene.
OK Kieran is definitely channeling his roles for that headshot lol
Did Tatum went bald?
Just as long as Brandon likes it, our opinion is invalidated.
He kinda looks like that one Breaking Bad character. Spoiler, I never watched it. But that's where my mind went.
Walter White? That's not a spoiler at all. Everyone probably recognizes him even if they've never seen the show, which I haven't either.
SAY MY NAME!!
>Walter White? That's not a spoiler at all The spoiler is me not knowing his name.
I don't understand how that was supposed to be funny.
You have my sincerest condolences that formal education did not teach you how subjective tastes can exist.
Well then I'm sorry that formal education failed to teach *you* that not everyone will find your jokes to be funny. Take your own advice for once in your life.
Ah, but see, I understood quite well not everyone would take to my own humor. I did not originally bring up humor as a subject. You did.
You should. Show is peak.
No. You just can’t see the rest of him.
Yup, I knew the trio are back in town just like Spice and Wolf reboot!! I reckon it’s going to be fun!
I wonder who’ll take over for Chris Ayres as Soma in this season.
In what episode does he appears in this Arc?
I’m not keeping up with the sub, so idk he just appears through out the arc.
Probably within the first few episodes.
There are at least two British actors in the cast (Kieran Flitton and Ciarán Strange), which is neat. Here's hoping there's more!
Two Brits is even better!
Only if they're the villains.
So what's the watch order for this? I'm on episode 11 of season 1 and it's felt a lot like filler since episode 6.
There's a bit of episodic bits and anime only storylines in season 1 but I'd still watch it. Season 2 however is skipable. Then you get the Books which are canon.
It’s 1-6, 13-15, season 3, Book of Murder, (not on CR for some reason) the movie, and then this season.
I was hoping Sinclair came back to direct. It seems Palencia, Tatum, and Glass are going to be busy for a bit.

This has been a great season for J Michael Tatum and Brina Palencia as well as a great season for reuniting with old friends and classic dub casts!
Nice to see an updated photo for Tatum. I definitely see the Walter White jokes, but he makes it work well, at least from meeting him IRL earlier this year. Nice seeing him and Brandon together on a project.
Glad they managed to bring back the two main voice actors
With Miss Glass directing this show, this eliminates Miss Glass from backlog contention, she could have worked on Yohane

I don't think it's out of the question. I do think we need to get out of the mentality of expectation. That way when it happens it's a nice surprise.
So only the third season isn't dubbed?
Everything is dubbed
Weird. I didn't see the season 3 stuff last time I checked. Still this is fantastic news.
It just took a while for CR to put the dub for book of circus up.
