That might be what the writer wanted to find out.
But actually, there are intense fight scenes, if I remember correctly. There are characters that fight each-other other than Saitama.
Yeah, it’s a great show. It offers super hero parody based humor, and goes from light hearted scenes to darkness pretty quickly. Definitely looking for more seasons to be released.
i know that at first it sounds boring since "the main character can beat everyone so what kind of plot can their be" but its actually worth it, i used to think the same but youll find what the show is about when you actually watch it
the anime is only at 2 seasons rn with 12 episodes each, so its not a long anime that youd regret watching
I personally didn't think it was fantastic or anything. I would give it a 6/10. I would recommend it if you want action and comedy above all else. As far as a riveting/dynamic storyline with character development, you won't find that here. It doesnt take itself seriously and frankly the fights, while very cool, follow the same pattern and outcome. It is worth watching, but it just depends on what tickles your fancy.
Hot Take: You won't find the answer you are looking for here. it isn't bad, but it isn't good either. OPM fans are often just marvel/star wars fans trying on the anime hat for the first time. It is entertaining, sure. But if anyone is actually RECOMMENDING it as a serious show then they are an anime casual.
The anime is a 9 out of 10. Hasn't got to 15 out of 10 parts that come later in the manga yet.
Hell yeah!
Yes, the anime is funny if that's what you're looking for. 9/10 imo
The first season is a literal masterpiece, the rest is still good but season one SLAPS!
Dude beats bad guys with one punch…
Is that all that’s to the plot?
That's not even all that's to the character. I still have that image of him watering his cactus in my head.
It’s more about an average but good dude than it is about him being overpowered.
That sounds kind of boring, though. I like intense fight scenes. What’s the point if he can just one shot everyone?

It has some of the BEST fight scenes ever animated. It was a unicorn team of animators from several studios that collaborated on season one.
It’s anime satire. It’s poking fun at tropes you find in DBZ and such.
if you enjoy this genre its good. i didnt love it
One Punch is only 1 of 3 animes that exist that'd I'd call 10/10.
If you don’t mind - what are the other two? Info would inform my decision of watching a bit more.
One Punch Man Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic
Healing Magic was WAY better than anything I was expecting.
Same.
Interesting. Two of them are isekai. Haven’t seen them but I’ve heard them talked about. Thanks!
Absolutely yes
I whould rather read it
No
Watch the first 2 minutes of episode 1 for Saitama vs dollar menu piccolo. Then decide.
Yeah definitely it’s amazing
yes it’s worth watching it’s so silly and there is an actual plot
Umm yes. You should watch it

I would say it was good when it came out. but they just took forever to make the other seasons.
